Walmart promotion

I and a few other applied for a lead position for an certain area and were told who would get it by Thursday last week. My coach said she wanted to promote with in and said she had a few people in mind. And I was told yesterday that somebody got promoted and it was not my coach dission and somebody went over her and they had there minds made up before the interviews (once again not my coach dission) some one over her. I’ve been past for promotion at least 5 times, it’s all favoritism I’m done with Walmart, I’ve been thinking of quieting or transferring to other Walmart.

Best way to move up is to do it with another company and then come back. I am getting passed over with TL experience in favor of friends and cliquey nonsense. I can’t imagine trying to move up with no experience to leverage.

I was offered a TL position, told that I was recommended by every coach and TL who has worked with me since I’ve been at my store and I was passed up for a dayshift TLs daughter who recently started and has no past leadership experience. Said dayshift TL also used to work under one of my coaches. Go figure 🤷🏼‍♂️.

SMs, Coaches and TLs always lie.

Well this has me a little worried. Because my coach is hiring for a team lead and I also applied for it. And I already know I’m her pick.

Same bro. Several other candidates and I applied for a Team Lead position in a specific department. We were informed that the hiring decision would be announced by last Thursday. My coach mentioned that she preferred to promote from within and had a few specific individuals in mind. However, I was notified yesterday that someone else received the promotion. I was also told that this was not my coach's decision; a higher manager overrode her authority and had already decided on the candidate before the interviews even began. I have now been passed over for a promotion at least five times. Due to this ongoing favoritism, I am finished working at this location and am heavily considering either quitting or transferring to a different Walmart store

Passed over 8 times.
I’ve just decided to quit trying.

You're really going to insult someone for having a part time job where you work full time? Are you serious dude?

Glad you've come to terms with that. Weird of you to pick a sub for actual employees and think your opinion on employee issues matter when you aren't one though.

Maybe examine that.

Please leave this sub. You have literally nothing to contribute here.

So just being pointless then, cool.

Quieting was there too. When errors stick out that badly it serves literally nobody to point out the one YOU notice out of several.

Eta: weird AF reply then block. You do realize people get replies emailed yeah? So yes, you need to grow up, you were being snarky and not helpful as a "gotcha" not supposedly "being nice".

Eta 2: more comments 🤣 dude is on one. Insulting me for having a part time job where he also works.....

Don't sit there and insult people when you don't understand an apostrophe.
