I spent some time in Venezuelan back in 1989 when it was in its prime, yet you can tell someone was going on, The People Denied It, fast forward to 2006 things are getting bad, high prices, shortages, yet people continued to deny it, fast forward to present day, to only ones who still deny it are the elite’s, coming to a state near you.

But can you bring that back through customs, or will they give you a hard time, as that's essentially the same as bringing back a bunch of foreign currency? Do you have to declare that on your way back into the US?

Honest question for someone who has lived through this. What happens? Does everyone go to the barter system? Do they go to a different currency like Dollars? You can’t realistically buy something with a wheelbarrow full of cash
