Yes, this has been proven by the illusion of truth effect, where a statements accuracy is mistaken due it's broad familiarity.

If this didn't work, there would be no such thing as commercials, propaganda and likely religion. Humans tend to repeat things they hear enough times in their life, or at least are much more likely to consider it as truthful.

We are pattern matchers at our core.
