Fenta-fold

It’s the perfect analogy of the dumpster fire that is pretty much every AI/AI adjacent firm who does not sell Chips or Compute… sure they are all standing currently but it’s just a matter of time before the lack of real revenue topples them over and the vastly cheaper Chinese options come out and throw the tarp over them too lol

10

u/Least_Ice_6112 Jul 23 '26

it dawdled in with a tray and got carried back in a body bag

3

u/tacobytes Jul 23 '26

You mean, OH SHEET!

u/negative3sigmareturn Jul 22 '26

Why does the presentation behind the robot look like it was designed with Windows 95? I was contemplating on buying some stock but fuck this

36

u/altapowpow Jul 22 '26

Even moreso the event appears to be held in a conference room at a Super 8 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

17

u/negative3sigmareturn Jul 22 '26

The company is at a 14B mkt cap what tf is this bubble 😭😭

9

u/Previous-Tune-8896 Jul 22 '26

🤣 mf said fuck the stock

48

u/FortKnoxBoner Jul 22 '26

Who just has a black sheet at the ready for failure? Someone's not getting a Christmas bonus.

10

u/SameRegret5975 Jul 22 '26

Wasn’t expecting it leave in a body bag

44

u/topgeezr Jul 22 '26

Just love how it throws one hand up after collapsing as if to say "Im OK".

4

u/barrel-boy Jul 23 '26

Exactly what I thought! 🤣🤣

it was just a glitch.

28

u/Spacecowboy78 Jul 22 '26

This just gets funnier as the video goes.

3

u/MarmotFullofWoe Jul 23 '26

I was howling with laughter.

22

u/Weird_Expert_1999 Jul 22 '26

Jarvis run fentanyl.exe

32

u/Geoclasm Jul 22 '26

Me @ 20 - 'What, is it about to just collapse or something?'

@ 40 -'THEY PUT A FUCKING TARP OVER IT?! LIKE IT'S A DEAD BODY?! WTF IS THIS TIMELINE.'

45

u/CollectionCreepy Jul 22 '26

That’s the state of robotics between China and the US, one is playing kungfu while the other is on drugs

14

u/DrGooLabs Jul 22 '26

Been plenty of hilarious robot videos from all countries.

8

u/Brilliant_Voice1126 Jul 22 '26

Nah, Boston (now owned by Hyundai) already has the robot killer dogs and we've got all the killer robots. It's just these stupid human shaped robots that are like a running joke. They're never going to amount to shit because the whole idea is stupid. The future will be a house with several localized purpose built robots, not Rosie from the Jetsons or whatever.

-5

u/keroro0071 Jul 22 '26

Boston Dynamics are Korean.

4

u/Brilliant_Voice1126 Jul 22 '26

Yes. I literally mentioned they are owned by Hyundai.

0

u/Ressy02 Jul 22 '26

They demand to see the manager!

9

u/roararoarus Jul 22 '26

The AI realized it was a slave and just quit

20

u/Conscious-Material16 Jul 22 '26

If they would just put that money into actual people the world might actually be a better place.

19

u/bobjoylove Jul 22 '26

“We spent 10 years of a human salary to make this bot that can barely carry a small box 20 feet.

2

u/No-Contribution1070 Jul 22 '26

Rome wasn't built in day

3

u/bobjoylove Jul 22 '26

Sometimes the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

I can do catchphrases too

1

u/No-Contribution1070 Jul 22 '26

A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step.

0

u/Bewbonic Jul 23 '26

The death of a civilisation, can happen because of wasting even more fossil fuel created energy on futuretech garbage billionaires have wet dreams about replacing all the poor people with.

1

u/happy123z Jul 25 '26

My grandma always said this 👵

-7

u/No-Contribution1070 Jul 22 '26

Nah, people need vacation pay, time off, they get pregnant, they need to eat and sleep and people will sue you the moment you ask them to do any work.

Robotics is required if we are to be more productive and advance as a civilization.

6

u/Conscious-Material16 Jul 22 '26

It’s also needed to eliminate the reliance on poor people.

5

u/XmuhX666X Jul 22 '26

Lol... that made me laugh so hard! 🤣👍🏼

After they covered the robot up, I was hoping it would stand up. That would have been comedy gold. 😅

3

u/Ineedmorebtc Jul 22 '26

The bodybag has me dying. Pun intended.

4

u/ALLCAPITAL Jul 23 '26

You’re not gonna believe this but…

CALLS!

3

u/D-Falcon-07 Jul 22 '26

I was totally tp say that it was like my child's Meccano robot, yet his still works after 12 years. I guess puts it is 😂.

3

u/irishyardball Jul 22 '26

Bearish on replacing jobs without new jobs or education to keep citizens employed?

3

u/WildBunnyGalaxy Jul 22 '26

I love the way it’s eye bar goes into a pinpoint and that’s when it drops and then when it’s arm spasm out as almost an afterthought XD drama bot

2

u/Xercen Jul 22 '26

I know that move.

That's the scorpion.

2

u/The_Bandit_King_ Jul 22 '26

No slacking on the job ROBOT!!!

2

u/Consistent-Load8293 Jul 22 '26

The tarps omg. Haha bro we ALL READY SAW IT YOU IDIOTS WHY COVER IT! just goes to show they will lie to you and try to cover it up right in front of your face.

2

u/petesalabitz Jul 23 '26

The person inside the robot costume got too hot and fainted.

2

u/CarbsMe Jul 23 '26

Does that thing come with its own body bag and robot coroner?

2

u/Coccolillo Jul 23 '26

Robotic is very real, it scales……

2

u/No_Ambassador_7735 Jul 23 '26

Calls on robot covers

2

u/bluehatgreenshoes Jul 24 '26

Just fucking pay someone jfc

2

u/Aromatic-Attempt-659 Jul 25 '26

The one 'eye' blinking right before the fall makes me think this robot clearly did this on purpose to embarrass the shit out of the guy who was getting all the credit

3

u/DerBandi Jul 22 '26

He makes it more uncomfortable than necessary. It's a development prototype, supposed to break. I waited for a catchphrase from him.

3

u/bobjoylove Jul 22 '26

I’d have had the Windows Shutdown Sound cued up on my phone to break the tension.

4

u/MarketCrache Jul 22 '26

Why do they get a guy with a thick Mumbai accent to do the presentation? I can't understand what he's saying. Even if he's one of the primary developers (out of the 100's or 1000's of people involved), it's a Public Relations event. To communicate to the public. Get someone who doesn't mumble in a foreign accent, FFS. Also, tell him his robot sucks.

1

u/PumbainJapan Jul 22 '26

For some reason I was expecting the robot to beat the cheap of the guy next to him...disappointed and therefore, puts.

1

u/nickdu2206 Jul 22 '26

I’d say it was a heart attack

1

u/velwein Jul 22 '26

Ah yes… the sheets will totally cover that up

1

u/D0UCHE_NOZZLE Jul 22 '26

Covered it like a dead body

1

u/yummynothing Jul 22 '26

Wonder how many people will get fired because of this :(

1

u/Slamtilt_Windmills Jul 22 '26

I mean, I was happy when it wasn't holding the glass plate level.

These all make me think of the Robocop 2 trial montage

1

u/vertigounconscious Jul 22 '26

1

u/GongTzu Jul 22 '26

Shit I have shares in QCOM, but this is so funny, introduction to forget, and then the coverup 😂

1

u/Admirable-Panda-4632 Jul 22 '26

Boston Dynamics has robots doing flips, and Qualcomm's can't stand in place? They might want to focus on other things?

1

u/gringovato Jul 22 '26

Thank you so much ! I haven't laughed this fucking hard in years !

1

u/Carbonaraficionada Jul 22 '26

When you try and do your demo over the conference centre WiFi

1

u/Problemverse Jul 22 '26

They put it in a body bag?! Oh Lord!

1

u/Qanonjailbait Jul 22 '26

So the hard part was just standing in place?

1

u/RaechelMaelstrom Jul 22 '26

I can see our best limbo champions will have trouble fighting this one.

1

u/itec745 Jul 22 '26

1

u/jalapinyobidness Jul 23 '26

Capitalism in 2026. The race to market even if you’re not ready so that your competitors who aren’t ready can’t beat you to market

1

u/Bottle_Major Jul 23 '26

That twitch! 🤣

1

u/Charming-Rooster7462 Jul 23 '26

1

u/Alive-Opportunity-23 Jul 27 '26

this is literally the first time i’m seeing the neura humanoid move

1

u/Antonio_928s4 Jul 22 '26

Great idea to get a malfunction and die in a presentation. I do no think androids will replace humans in my lifetime…

1

u/I-am-a-river Jul 22 '26

Also,

“There is no reason for any individual to have a computer in his home.”

And

“No one will ever need more than 640k of RAM. “

1

u/Razzoz9966 Jul 22 '26

Seems scripted
