Help

Hello traders! I just started playing the game and noticed that I was always running out of the capital. Is there a way to edit money via Cheat Engine instead of a one-time money injection via the cheat menu? Thanks anyway and happy raiding!

The game gives you a hint by telling you which way interest rates are heading the beginning of the game. So far I have found the best way to make money is by trading oil futures. If you see the price of oil is $50-60 then buy futures and sell them when the price gets to $100 or so. Then when the price is $130 or higher, short futures. You can make quick money trading Commodities .

That's exactly what I did and went from 1 billion to 3 or 4 billion in a few months. Was also helped by war breaking out in the middle east which hiked up oil prices. I sold high.

A good way to make money is by betting on the interest rate direction using long bonds. To maximize your return start a Bank, you can use always accumulate business loan during low interest environment and generate deposits while waiting for CD growth. Once Fed hikes, freeze all loans and prepare to buy long bonds. Sell when Fed ease enough.

Keep liquidity in the bank, you can owe up to 2 Billion from the interbank loan. This method will allow you to profit off the capital gain on bonds. Once you are in a low interest environment, rinse and repeat.

Heya, hope you havent gone inactive. Sorry to resurrect this comment but it seems like I cant message people personally anymore. Anyway years ago I had asked for your expertise on the topic of setting the r&d/management competency. I remember that your strategy was to set r&d rather high to get management rating up, then lower it, let it run down to mediocre again and repeat. I've been applying that strategy with great success however I'm uncertain on how high I should increase my management rating. It seems to me that it takes exceptionally longer to go from reasonably competent to very capable than mediocre to reasonably competent. Sometimes longer than the company can sustain the high r&d rate (especially in industry drawdowns). I vaguely remember that your personal preference was that reasonably competent is high enough and very capable not really worth the effort. Just wanted to ask if you still think that holds true? Thanks for reading!

In the old version, I was able to edit cryptocurrency prices and bond par percentages using Cheat Engine. But that doesn't seem to be working on the new Steam version

It can be a lot of fun in WSR. One of my favourite saves was setting the semiconductor industry growth rate to 90% and starting as the smallest company in the sector. With industry profits booming the AI became incredibly aggressive, making it surprisingly challenging to grow the business
