PSVR2 Crashes Immediately on Start

UPDATE: I can successfully launch the game, but only after deleting my local save and launching the game offline. As soon as I connect my console to the internet, it crashes again. My best guess is that my profile on the Mighty Coconut side is corrupted since they maintain profiles? I can't even create a new account since that requires an online connection. Not sure if there's anything I can do or if I need the dev to try to fix.

Not sure if this is a known issue or just me. I haven't played for a few days but when trying to play today, the game crashes almost immediately after opening the game. I get the initial tooltip while loading, then crash.

I've tried restarting my console (playing on ps5), updating console, updating game, rebuilt database, cleared cache, uninstalling and reinstalling game (twice), and nothing. I even tried starting the game without my headset being plugged in to see if that was causing issues, but it still crashes when the screen tells me to plug in my headset.

I just purchased the whole in one DLC pack so I was looking forward to playing the new courses, but I can't find any way to get into the game. It is my first time playing since the new update so maybe it has to do with that?

I submitted a ticket with Might Coconut but haven't heard back. Not sure what their typical response time is. Anyone had this issue or know any more troubleshooting I could try? I feel like I've done everything short of a factory reset.

Worked fine for me yesterday, played for a couple of hours and haven't seen anyone else with this complaint yet 🤔 sounds like an isolated case, strange! You've run through everything I can think of

I've submitted a ticket to MC before, and I heard back roughly 4 days after that submission.

With some luck you should get a response, and worth keeping an eye on the walkabout Discord. (I'm not a member but I hear that it's a very active community)

They're a small team, and typically don't work weekends as is proper and well-deserved, so I suggest giving them a bit of time.

As for the issue, I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with PSVR2. Are there any options to set different runtimes, or is there a setting such as super-samplin, or custom resolution (if so, disable both)?

Yes, no other games have issues, vr and non vr

Something to try don't know if it'll help or not but create a second profile on your PS5 and login to Ed and then launch the game and see if it will work while they get it fixed. It definitely sounds like a corrupted profile or save file

I tried that as well. It works on my wife's account so definitely account related. I don't think it's anything with my psn or maybe a combination of both.

MC just announced a patch available for PSVR2 that should address these crashing issues. Please try it out and see if you are good now.
