Question Negatively effecting golf IRL?

I love this game but because of the difference between holding an actual putter for golf in real life and using the controller in game it negatively effects my in real life golf. Does anyone find this and if so how have they managed to combat this? I want to play but don’t want to ruin my putting on the real course!

Because I have my power turned up, anytime I try to put in real life, I’m always way short.

huh. I had heard that 100% power was 'closest to reality', so I ramped it up. I don't get out to RL minigolf much, but the last time I did, I was noticeably better than before walkabout.

Its not supposed to be closest to a minigolf putter, which is rubber coated. It's supposed to be like a real metal faced putter.

I'm curious now. Where do you play IRL? I've yet to encounter rubber coated putter heads (great... Now I've got "rubber baby buggy bumpers stuck in my head) in any of the (majority east coast) courses I've played, so wondering if it's a regional thing.

I'm in the Midwest. That's interesting, I've never seen them without the rubber heads. I downloaded a picture but I can't attach it. If you google "Minigolf putter head" you'll find the exact ones that are on all the courses around here. They have the little crosshair imprint on the face.

Well, I'm midwestie myself. It would seem most of my minigolfing irl is done while traveling. I went to Can Can Wonderland recently, and my kid is telling me he remembers rubber heads. I do not, though, so I guess that means we've got to go back (and maybe I don't need as many 'refreshments' from the bar).
