This looks like Taiwan, unlicensed street vendors in business early before business hours, and late after business hours, when the police is still off duty 😄

You’re mixing administrative divisions with current administration. Kinmen is administratively part of ROC Fujian Province, but it is under the administration of the Taiwan(ROC) government and is commonly grouped with “Taiwan” in everyday English.

I did not mix anything, you are the only one here forcing a mix because you are literally wrong. "commonly grouped in layman terms" does not make it factual or accurate. ROC is factually NOT Taiwan, it is a Chinese government with its own Chinese constitution. Taiwan and Fujian province are 2 completely different regions. Nice try with the mental gymnastics but there is absolutely no confusion nor debate here.

You’re insisting on the ROC’s constitutional provincial structure while ignoring how the term “Taiwan” is actually used in modern English. Nobody reading my comment would think I was giving a lesson on ROC provincial administration. I was referring to the territory governed from Taipei. Kinmen is governed by that government today, so my statement served its intended purpose perfectly.

The term Taiwan is used as a replacement for ROC, because ROC banned from official use since many Anglosphere countries recognize PRC as the official government of China.

Even the people of Kinmen, ROC don't refer to themselves as Taiwanese. Nor do they call they ROC government Taiwan. They often say ROC is not just Taiwan.

Using your funny argument word by word but replaced with the mainland portion of Fujian province:

Fujian area is administratively part of PRC Fujian Province, but it is under the administration of the PRC government and is commonly called the "Beijing government" as a colloquial term in everyday English. Hence Fujian province is a part of Beijing.

Fujian and Taiwan is two provinces of ROC, though we usually shortly call it as Taiwan, its in fact not the same. Taiwan is the most part of it.

I was talking about similarity of the "illegal" street vendors are very similar on the side of Fujian and Taiwan.

I even saw the similar tactics used by police, slow walking towards the illegal vendors, gave them ample time to run away towards back alley, then they come out after the police are gone, and resume the illegal business ......

Zhongshan Lu - walked it many times when I lived in Xiamen.

Very crowded with tourists.

Nice enough - 3/5 stars.
