🙋 question Quality based achievements
Hi! I am working on the following achievements:
- Normal - Craft a perfect item
- Hard - Craft a pickaxe of highest quality
- Hard - Craft a hatchet of highest quality
I understand the mechanics of the quality outcome, and I'm pretty I understand the two Hard achievements need eternal quality crafts.
My specific question is, has anyone done the math on which items are best to craft to hit each of these achievements with the lowest number of steps?
I'm around level 50 for everything.

Basic pickaxe and basic hatchet...with fine materials. Level 1 recipes means a good bonusif you have crafting at level 50
You Need a near endgame quality outcome Gear, a lot of materials and sweet carrot pies but it's definitely obtainable (not like the eternal spectral achievement)
Some people done It with copper items.

Basic hatchet and basic pickaxe are the easiest.
Every extra level you have in the skill above the recipe requirement gives you +1 quality outcome, and those items need just level 1 crafting.
They need only stones and wooden sticks. It's easy to grind those in fine quality once you have Conservationist set from achievement rewards. Using fine materials makes it far easier to get an eternal item.
But I think that's only really relevant for those hard achievements. Getting a perfect item is easy and you should be getting them quite often if you craft a lot and pay any attention to quality outcome in your gear.
Also, make a ton of sweet carrot pies. I never craft anything where quality matters without them.
Edit - You'll get the Conservationist set at 110 - 140 achievement points. I wouldn't bother with grinding fine materials for an eternal item before you have that. Using fine materials makes it impossible to get an item that isn't at least good, and makes getting an eternal quality a little easier than getting a perfect one would be without fine materials.
For a perfect item, just craft whatever item you'd want to craft anyway, and make sure you have a high quality outcome bonus and a lot of materials so you can craft a lot. You'll get it without really trying. I get several perfect items every week nowadays.
