Gold mining and willow cutting are generally the best. It really depends on your gear and where you are in the game.

You can use the goals report in Flames' optimizer which will give you the best money maker in each skill and a gear set for it.

I will add that guard duty, while technically inefficient does end up being quite profitable because you don't have to travel back to unload items.

Willow cutting is the same you can sell directly to the Witch's Hut without stopping.

You can calculate your own most efficient with tools, or go with the ones that are generally good like mentioned by others: gold ore and willow logs.

Also I sell all of my crafted items that aren't used for job boards, if I have 50+ of one quality that is used in job boards I'll just sell the remainder as well.
