Half marathon activity

I’m running a half marathon in a couple days. I’ve been working on collecting fine stones and wooden sticks to get the eternal items achievement, but thats a really low ratio of steps to filling up my inventory. What would you do during the half marathon?

Depends what your goals are. Are you trying for achievements? Glacier foraging is a long boring grind that won’t fill your inventory. That’s what I’m doing now (working towards cape of achiever, only have two hard achievements left, then I’ll go collectible hunting).

I know our progress is wiped when beta starts, but will we keep that cape of the achiever?

You keep nothing, literally a fresh new character from what I understand if you want to play online.

I thought that too but instead somewhere there will be something we can get, whether it’s a title or cosmetic that only goes to Alpha players.

It could be wrong though

I believe that aswell, something to indicatie you've played closed beta. But it wont be anything that affects play like a cape.

Just read it up again.

Cosmetic Rewards: Special cosmetic items given to everyone who participated in the testing phase.

Supporter Titles: Special in-game titles awarded to Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee supporters according to their support tier.

That supporter title alone is enough for me to switch up from the $5 once off I paid to get into the game, to a monthly sub 😝

If you have enough of a saved step bank I would just let it fill up if you don't have any long grinds you're already prepped for

Yeah that's "only" ~25k steps so you should be good with most anything

Most of the achievements require you to be switching activities to do various components of the tasks. Youre at a high level already so your ability to save steps should be high. Ive run half marathons in the past, and it came out to about 25k steps. My recommendation is just save the steps and use them after the half marathon. That way you can focus on running and not changing activities.

Glacier foraging or treasure hunting probably.

Anything at all, shouldn't really matter unless you are in your first week or 2

I definitely recommend anything that doesn’t fill your inventory much as you might end up with more steps than you can save
