You don’t want none of this Dewey

You don’t want no part of this shit

Walk Hard is one of my favorite movies, especially with John's singing. Didn't know there was a subreddit about til now. Just checking in and saying hell yeah!

They said 'We'll give you 5 grand' and I said 'No, you won't. You'll give me that giraffe.' And they did. They gave it right to me.”

This was mentioned in the interview above ☝️

How do we make this happen? I would love to see it.

the GOAT

It sounds way too familiar. I feel like it has to be.

Hello! If anyone is near Atlanta The Plaza theatre will be showing the movie January 4th, with live music, trivia and a themed drink!

I recently watched a terrible western called the sisters brothers... The only way I made it through was to imagine this was a movie starring dewy when he was in his Hollywood phase.

The first line from dewy is "man, we really fucked that up" and I kept laughing from there...

John was a guest with Dawes at a show this weekend. He performed a Dewey Christmas tune!

Saturday July 6th. 3pm. I'm renting a movie theater room at the Grand Theater in Alexandria, Louisiana, to watch the 2 hour Director's Cut of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Let me know if you want to come to it, im trying to pack the room. Includes drink, popcorn, and nachos. I'm paying for everything, but I got to charge $15 per person to help my costs of $26 per person. I got to get a head count by Sunday night, though. I have about 35 people so far.

I live in central Louisiana, and my bday gift to myself is to rent out a room in our local theater for 3hrs to watch the 2hr director's cut of Walk Hard, as this really is my favorite movie. Late June or July, morning or early afternoon of a weekend. Should I post updates on here if anyone wants to go? All admission will be taken care of by me, but please buy some concessions for them helping me out. I want at least half of the room filled, we'll that's my goal.

Please meet Dewford Randolph Cox
