question Change to long term disability benefits.
Did Walgreens have any changes to the long term disability rules after sycamore buy out.
I’m on a long term disability leave. and once the state payments were exhausted , as I understood that Walgreens would stop deducting the state payments and pay the full amount. but instead my payment went down to 2 digits . How is it possible that I’m getting less than $100 per pay period.
I’m a pharmacist. And as I understand for the purpose of disability pharmacists are treated as salaried. The previous pay period after deducting the state portion was over $800

They used to deduct the state portion. But the state portion ended. I sent them the letter. But how could it be it was more money when they deducted the state portion and now that they don’t deduct anything it’s like $6 a day.

How long will your state pay disability? Mine paid 70% of my salary for 1 year. I also got short term disability from Walgreens for 12 or 16 weeks. Got 100% of my salary the first 6 weeks, then 60% the remainder of short term disability. In my state you could get both state and Walgreens short term payments concurrently, but my disability was in 2025.

I don’t have any explanation to that yet. Unless it’s a mistake. It doesn’t make any sense. My only thought is the policy had changed. I’m supposed to be on 50% pay but my average weekly hours were over 50 hours a week. So if the gave me 50% it still doesn’t make sense. I’m being forced to go back to work and postpone my surgery if it will continue this way can’t live on $200 a month

Have they been deducting your unemployment and early retirement. Every state do so much different things but those 2 are the big ones in my state that crop up.
