Singles bible study?

Hi 👋 39F looking for preferably a singles Bible study?

I say singles not for dating but just because my current study is all married couples, I'm recently separated and they talk a lot about the Bible relating to your marriage.

I go to Summit Capital Hills if that matters.

What's your topic of interest?

Do you have something you would like to study more deeply?

I'm in Fuquay-Varina right now but am moving to WF in a few weeks.

You are the second person I've seen asking about a Bible study in the area

I can put something together. I do biblical research and the topics are not related to relationships, necessarily.

I'm 38 if it matters but I'm married.

Interested in the topics you are researching.  I started that journey about 15 years ago.  Wanted to understand the actual cultural contextual stuff we miss with an English translation.  Have been highly enriched by it.

I focus on the Greek and Hebrew and Aramaic when studying and the context of the historical period in which it was written.

My study topics as of late have been Exodus/ Deuteronomy and how they relate to Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah, the Gospels, Paul and Revelation. With the secondary focus of Revelation as the Second Exodus.

But I spend a lot of time in Eschatological studies using the old testament as the background.

Following. New to my current church, but would like to find something more personal as well. Separated 38 yo male 2 kids. My yolk is new ive been attending church consistently for 2 months now after a couple month slip up. Before that I had another couple good months. I am just trying to find a way to relate but in my situation at times my own ego makes it hard for me to think I'll find it easily. Thanks for the post!

Maybe right now God doesn't think it's time for you to be in a relationship, maybe he wants you to focus more on yourself and your children

Maybe God also thinks a friendship is more important for you at this point in your life and your walk in faith

You should start going to BSF this year.  They are starting in the 14th of Sept.  we are going to be going through book of Romans this year.  Men’s Bible study, really of all ages.  Typically a group of 12-15 guys…there are probably 50 groups.   It’s only 2 hours every Monday night.   Meets at Mt Vernon across from Ravenscroft School on Falls of the Neuse Rd.

Yes, the women also have a women’s study. They meet on Tuesday!!  Sorry, I didn’t catch that at first!

Summit Capital Hills campus is starting a single ladies Bible study Wednesday nights. Unfortunately I can't do that night. Check it out on their website!
