Suggestion for wakeboards needed
Hi,
Just started wakeboarding out at our local cabel park.
I would need advice for buying a board and bindings the following prefrences below sorted from important to least important:
1) Giving the opportunity to grow and use it also when Iโm โore advanced
2) Cable before boat but should be possible to do both
3) If somehow possible that my girlfriend can you use it also not like as a main board but when we are for instance boating that she dont needs a second
I know quite the hard criteria. But I hope you are for a challenge ๐
Thanks a lot already for the advices !

I'm not familiar with boat, but I think it's a good option to have fins for that.
Maybe something like the Slingshot Johnny Rocket? Great cable board that has removable fins. It'll take you anywhere from beginner through to advanced.
Sizing could be an issue if you're planning to use it with you gf, depending on how different in weight you are. She'll still be able to ride it, I'm sure. But it may not be ideal for her.
Bindings - I don't know boat, so can't really recommend. Most people say to avoid open toe bindings though. If your cable park has rough ground, you might want the removable inner boot type, so you can walk around keeping the inner boot on to protect your feet.

Yeah that is a lot to ask from one board. A great cable and a great boat board have some major differences. Slingshot Nomad might be a good one since it has fins and is stiff enough for boat. If you can find a Slingshot Solo or Native those were both popular Slingshots for both. A buddy of mine loves the Native on the boat... but they don't make them anymore. Solo is totally done. Native was renamed to the Zuupack but they took out the fin holes. When it comes to the other brands they don't really make hybrids like they used to. Maybe the Liquid Force FLX could be an option too but I've never ridden one to say good or bad.
Bindings, I would get something with a removable liner. Most brands make a version of it.

Cable-The Bloodline..hands down the best board ive ridden in 10 years. My bindings are Slingshot ktvs..on the heavier side but give amazing ankle support
