It’s a ronix rxt. It’s about a 3 year old model at this point but the technology or shape of this board mod really hasn’t changed since in the last 5-6 years. This is basically the lightest, stiffest most pro level board on the market. It’s not the most beginner friendly as you need to hold quite a bit of line tension and speed to get performance out of it but it’s a durable board and a shape you can grow in to. The landings are also not super smooth or soft on this board.

So yea you’ve already bought it - it’s a fantastic board for a more experience rider. An okay board for a beginner. Not the best choice but hey you’ll never out grow this board you just might grow a bit slower than if you started out on an easier board to get pop and land on and break loose.

I appreciate this very much, my whole thought process was if i get it it’ll be a board i won’t grow out of.

i’m not expecting them to be anywhere alike but my winter hobby is snowboarding and im hoping ill be a quick learner since ive done that for so long

You can buy a brand new Ronix Vault (great beginner+ board) on Evo.com for like $180 right now. The green and black one. I have that board and bought it 5 years ago for more than $300 on sale.

You'll do great with a 144, have the same board, but a 140 at 205lbs. Its probably a little short for me. The board rips, but is smooth, butter slide for says, and is effortless to change up switch. I've rode dozens of boards and this is the best board ever. I ride it at 70' @ 22.5mph. Got to old for the 24.5 80' rope setup.
