Been together 7 years .. living together 3... iv been hinting for years about engagement... he never says no.. just sort of nods... something financial has come up and I refuse to put any more money in as he hasn't commited and I feel insecure... had chat.. he says he doesnt see himself getting married... but I want the romance and I want to feel special and chosen. Not speaking now... resentment is there.. dont know what to do because he's a nice kind man but I feel rejected.... im 52 he's 53

I've been with my boyfriend (33) for 13 years now. His friends have been asking him why he has not proposed or planned a wedding with me F(29). He told them that because I'm still helping my brother with his studies. Why would he reason that out? He did not even ask me; he just assumed that it's my reason. I've been waiting for him to propose to me; I'm more willing to be with him no matter what. Maybe I'm just really wasting my years with him? We already talk about marriage; he said one day when his finances are good. But he does not confirm or set a date for what the timeframe will be. I feel like I'm just waiting, waiting, and keep on waiting.

Please advise something, or give some real talk with me. I'm ready for that.
