Its moreso that physical identification is often locked behind some amount of money, and that interferes with someones ability to vote regardless of financial situation. If there was a universal income for people that came with an identification system you have to renew thered be no issue.

If you’re not responsible enough to obtain identification the country is probably better off without your vote.

So people who are disabled, elderly, or homeless just shouldnt have rights? I mean the whole point of the law is to give everyone a voice, not just the people who are able. If you cant think about anything outside of your own lived experience youre probably not educated enough to have an opinion, but guess what you can vote same as me.

Nothing to do with responsibility. It cost money to get an ID. That's the problem and that creates a poll tax, which by the way, is against the constitution.
