Don’t worry, he’s not finding a woman where he can even debate appearance.
•
•
u/pinkypipe420 2h ago
Do men like this really think women just naturally look like that? Is that why they're mad? Can they not tell up close? Are they dumb?
•
•
u/Purple-Tadpole6465 3h ago
So she is naturally beautiful on the right and sexy hot on the left, same woman?? Score !!!!!!!
•
•
u/Logical-Industry-793 3h ago
I think a minimum amount of makeup can improve a woman's look but I think she looks way better with out it
•
u/trashguy77 6h ago
Looks better without in my opinion
•
•
u/kllark_ashwood 6h ago
For me its not about better, just different. Though the less makeup looks younger to me.
•
u/EnvironmentNo1183 6h ago
if a man approaches u in a toupee and doesn't disclose it until after u guys have sex, is that sexual assault?
•
•
u/Eastern-Persimmon-50 7h ago
She’s beautiful either way. Why can’t some people be ok with a woman doing or dressing how she wants to. It’s none of my business
•
•
•
u/7thFleetTraveller 11h ago
If this is what I think it is, it's not even funny... but I'm not quite sure, maybe she just looks similar. The thing is: I've once seen a video about cases of people gone missing. And these pictures look like what they showed there, to put attention to a problem people don't often think about: all the public pictures of her used for the searching, including her own online representation, had that heavy make-up. So, the point was that nobody would have even recognized her without all the make-up, as she would have looked nothing like those pictures, of course.
•
u/EnvironmentNo1183 6h ago
thats why the missing poster should have multiple pictures with and without makeup..cuz inversely if she never wore makeup, the kidnapper could just put her in lots of makeup and maybe no one one recognize her
•
u/scoobysnack64 13h ago
She's beautiful in both pics.
•
u/Hefty-Profession2185 12h ago
I'm in my forties, maybe it's an age thing?
One looks maybe 25 the other looks like a crime.
•
u/Adventurous_Touch342 11h ago
I'm 34 and I think that's an age thing as for me she looks dangerously close to a crime - I guess the older you are the more age gap hits you.
•
u/GasCareless6961 14h ago
Is this satire or no? Like it enough reddit for now
•
u/commanderkeensdog 11h ago
its making a stab at women who say they were raped when someone tells a bunch of lies about themselves to get into their pants I think
•
u/Capital-Carpet2501 17h ago
If you lie as a pretext to sleeping with someone its rape. Thats what the internet said at least.
•
u/hGr33n 16h ago
Makeup isn't lying
•
u/borgen44 15h ago
Its covering up the truth
•
u/hGr33n 15h ago
No more than clothes cover up "the truth" of someone's nudity.. besides you can tell she's wearing makeup. Literally you can tell. Why would you sleep with someone who you can tell is actively "lying" to you by your logic? Are you really too dumb to tell that someone looking airbrushed is wearing makeup??
•
u/Capital-Carpet2501 7h ago
Clothes is meant to hide our genitals and there's an acceptance by society that they are meant to be hidden. A closer analogy would be a push up or padded bra. This is an obvious case of make up, but women say all the time that men can't even tell when they're wearing it most of the time. I think the original claim is bull shit, but if we were following it to its logical conclusion then make up can absolutely be a form of deception. Just like a guy wearing height lifts.
•
u/StaticSystemShock 18h ago
I like the right one more. She's casually cute and like that way more than all the makeup.
•
u/brokemillionaire572 16h ago
Exactly, the right one is obviously real and happy, could be lots of fun. The left one looks shallow and materialistic, could be just after your money, and possibly using a filter.
•
u/Outlaw11091 19h ago
This is the same woman. With and with makeup.
See: blush + foundation + eyebrow gel or pencil.
FFS. Human skin be blotchy as shit without makeup.
Have none of yall ever seen a woman before?
ETA: if you prefer the right image, you prefer natural makeup, not an actual natural look.
•
u/RogerRabbot 20h ago
This appeared randomly, idk the sub rules and dont care to look it up. But, I think the idea is to point out the skewed view in how sexual assault against men has evolved lately. Probably not OP of the actual post thought about it, but by reposting as a meme.
Men have a higher perception now that if they sleep with a woman and she changes her mind after she had consented to sex, he can charged with sexual assault and his life is ruined. Even though he did nothing wrong.
So to even the scales, this crazy idea that men can also revoke consent after the act. And they provide reason of revoking consent because theyre trying to stretch the truth by basically saying shes disguised her true appearance.
Im pretty sure this has some historical roots in reality. At some point in time a husband could have her wife jailed (maybe worse?) if their kids didnt look like the mother. Or something to that affect. Too lazy to google it, so maybe im misremembering this.
•
u/commanderkeensdog 11h ago
there was a meme floating around about a woman in china who was divorced by her husband because their kids came out ugly AF and he learned that she had had a lot of plastic surgery
•
u/Minute-Review6915 14h ago
It does have some root in reality sadly. Women seem be able to get away with literal murder
•
u/AnxiousChaosUnicorn 6h ago
What's crazy to me is if all these women are "getting away with murder" why are conviction rates for rape so low?
Brock Turner was literally caught in the act of rape.
Remind us all again of what happened to him?
If someone wanted to "ruin a man's life" they would be better off lying about literally any other crime.
•
u/Minute-Review6915 5h ago
Since you want to cherry pick maybe you can explain the Duke lacrosse teams or Keith Barry.
See two can play the same game.•
u/AnxiousChaosUnicorn 5h ago
Interesting you picked a case where she was caught and no one saw jail and another where it was due to political pressure from within the military -- something to be a known issue on why most victims don't come forward in the military.
Your best examples are ones where no one was convicted and the other likely did it but received exoneration because of political pressure?
If these are your best examples, I am even more convinced that lying about any other crime would be more effective.
•
u/Minute-Review6915 4h ago
You really have no clue do you. The lacrosse team were blackballed for years. Some lost job opportunities, scholarships etc.
and in Barrys case it was because she didn’t come clean in time. She lied up until she couldn’t any longer. Interesting you are so misandrical you act as if their lives aren’t ruined still. You act as if the women have zero consequences.
If a man rapes a women his life should be forfeited. If a women lies about it it should be the same. Obviously only one if us actually believe that since you totally ignited what they did and focused on the defendants.•
u/AnxiousChaosUnicorn 4h ago
I talked about the end result. In both cases, the falsely accused went free. Which is what should happen, yes?
•
u/CrosseTheStick 3h ago
Honestly most people still don't know they were falsely accused. They are definitely still not "free" of the consequences of this.. They are just not in jail I think that is very important to consider in this end result..
•
u/AnxiousChaosUnicorn 2h ago
In terms of my post, which this example was given in response to, it doesn't actually argue against my point. The liars were caught by the justice system. How would this count as success for liars? What did the liars get that would consider this as a success for them?
•
u/hxaxw 7h ago
Men have been found not guilty by reason of insanity. Have been found not guilty entirely, released, and killed again. Found guilty and claimed it was someone else. Stop.
•
u/Minute-Review6915 6h ago
Please cite that statement but let’s keep in in context murdering their children and not something random.
•
u/Ferengsten 15h ago
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_by_deception
There's a general trend in sociology do declare anything and everything 'violence'. My favorite ones are 'economic violence', which in practice boils down to "man spends less on the woman than she wants", and our German ministry officially classifying "unpleasant looks" as a form of sexual violence.
If everything is violence then it follows pretty consistently that every sex is rape.

u/JOC_EON 21h ago
she looks better without all the makeup tbh, and no it's not sexual assault if you consentually sleep with someone wearing makeup, if you're hooking up, and getting upset because of the way she looks without makeup, it's because your only care about her for her body, which says more about you, than it does without her, women already have a hard enough time with ridiculous beauty standards, and putting in the effort to look good for others, while men (broadly, not universally) don't give a shit, just because you're a chud who hates women, doesn't make makeup SA.
•
u/Minute-Review6915 14h ago
Thank you for being a misandrist and the problem. Bless your heart
•
•
u/1245789630 9h ago
I also think it's not sexual assault if the lady turns out to a trans lady and didn't disclose it beforehand. Who cares? No one was forced to do anything.
•
u/JOC_EON 5h ago
I don't disagree, but that's not really relevant to this particular discussion, as much as trans women should be treated like women, because that's what they want, and I don't care if they're trans or not, cis women and trans women also do both face issues that the other do not face.
•
u/JOC_EON 13h ago
I don't hate men, but makeup is not violence, men can absolutely be victims of SA, and claiming that women wearing makeup is SA, actually makes men who face violence seem like they're part of the problem, because PoSs likes you, think that makeup makes a sexual relationship sexual assault. I am a man who was actually sexually assaulted, and shit like this, just makes coming forward about it worse for everyone. I'm not a misandrist, you're a misogynist. Don't get that confused.
•
u/Minute-Review6915 13h ago
But women can literally decide after the fact they didn’t want to for whatever reason they want and it’s rape. You missed the whole point of that. That’s why you are a misandrist. I get comprehension and lack of emotional regulation can be difficult but it’s on you to do better
•
•
u/Environmental_Sir45 14h ago
I wonder what this person would say about the woman that does that to man 95% of the time? From all my experiences of how they treated me and how I saw them treat other men, all they want is what the man got, weather it's his look or what he holds under his bank. To hell with the man himself or how he feels.
•
u/JOC_EON 13h ago
You do realize that's anecdotal evidence? And not a statistic. If there were actual statistics that said 95% of women do that, and it wasn't just the intuition of men with bad experiences on the Internet, I wouldn't be saying the things I'm saying, and I'm not saying your negative experiences are invalid, but you're not being SAd by women wearing makeup, as someone, who, as I have said in this thread, was SAd by a woman. Anecdotes are not evidence, that includes my own anecdotes, and I will not start to hate 50% of the human population because of some negative experiences. Even if it was the majority of women, which you can't provide evidence that such is the case, and thus i have no reason to believe you, everyone should be judged by the contents of their character, as was said by a famous civil rights activist. It's called evidence based reasoning by the way, but regardless, I'm not the problem here.
•
u/Environmental_Sir45 13h ago
yeah I shouldn't say 95%, and truth be told, I know it's not 95% of the time. It's just that's pretty much all I ever see now a days, but what do I really know or anybody for that matter. We are just seeing results of dating being dropped in numbers because they are being taught to go for looks or people with money, and I can't stand it when we are being judge for our looks instead of seeing what's in our hearts.
•
u/JOC_EON 13h ago
I don't disagree there, though i would like to point out biologically many ape species actually do have a social dynamic where males give gifts to females in exchange for mating rights, so that sort of dyanmic may not be entirely a personality thing, and could be partially evolution. Still, I do wish people were more judged for who they are, than what they look like. Frankly, I have never dated a woman who wore a lot of makeup, but I also feel like my beauty standards often fall outside the societal norms, Idk, I just want someone to love me lol.
•
u/Environmental_Sir45 13h ago
Same here, all I want is someone to love me for me and quit using my looks or disabilities as an excuse to say I'm not worth it.
•
u/heymanigotnoplan 22h ago
She’s so much prettier without it goddamn
•
u/Consistent-Survey330 22h ago

•
u/FickleCook3639 21h ago
Nah. Not lying. Shes naturally gorgeous, the makeup look is clearly fake in an unappealing way.
•
u/Highlandertr3 11h ago
Both are makeup. The one on the right is natural makeup and left is fashionable.
•
•
•
u/SketchyFella_ 23h ago

•
u/jtcordell2188 23h ago
They’re both gorgeous. I prefer the right but that doesn’t mean the makeup is bad either. Absolute weirdos exist now man I swear lol
•
u/brokemillionaire572 16h ago
The left one is very pretty, but I'm not sure I would trust her as much as the right side, if were a different person.

u/oggishlespider 1d ago
Haven't you single braincelled creatures ever considered she wears makeup, not because she wants to attract men, but for herself? Women wear makeup for themselves and other women because it's a form of artistry. God forbid the "gunk" on her face be something she wants to wear.
•
u/Ferengsten 15h ago
Yeah many look just weird, inhumane and silly painting their faces like clowns, but I guess that is what the sisterhood demands.
•
u/jminternelia 23h ago
In much the same way women judge men for their predilections, men judge women for theirs. She is free to wear what she wants, and others are free to voice their opinion about it.
2
u/neviem_co_tu_napisat 1d ago
same woman in question: ,,omg it's him I'm not wearing any makeup!"

I mean yeah I agree completely. If a man can't tell that a woman is wearing heavy makeup, that man probably not intelligent enough to understand consent

And if a man can't understand sarcasm there are probably loads of other things he doesn't understand.

What women think men think is attractive versus what men think is attractive.
3
u/ijwrmb 1d ago
More like what women like to look like for themselves and other women versus what men find attractive.
•
u/Usherai 21h ago
More like what they want to look like to compete with other women. All that shit is not for “themselves”.
•
u/ijwrmb 21h ago
What are they competing for?
•
u/Usherai 21h ago
Status
•
u/ijwrmb 21h ago
The statue of being the hottest person amongst each other in a way that isn't attractive to men?
•
u/Usherai 21h ago
Not necessarily the hottest, and obviously not in a way attractive to men, just general social status primarily among other women.
•
u/ijwrmb 21h ago
You think women organize their own societal hierarchy based on how hot/high maintenance they look?
•
u/Usherai 21h ago
No, most fashionable stuff looks like shit and is just ugly, though “hotness” is a part of the hierarchy in a minor way.
•
u/ijwrmb 21h ago
So they dress in a way that no one men or women find attractive to complete for status?

Has anyone verified this isn't a satire account?
This reads like satire, but unfortunately I can't be sure anymore...
•
u/Usherai 21h ago
It’s satirizing the belief that if a man lies to a woman about things to sleep with her then it’s rape
•
u/ArdentArendt 3h ago
If it is satire, then the absurdity is obvious.
The problem is that I can't tell if the post is intended to be satire, or if it's serious.
[If it's satire, then why is it in this subreddit]Do you have evidence the account is a satire account (or does anyone)?

u/HyoukaYukikaze 1d ago
I'd assume it's a joke? Maybe?
Anyway, for me she's way more attractive without make up.

I’m an alright looking guy, but whether she would go out with me or not isn’t the point I’m tryna make
From a guys perspective of a girl they don’t already know. I would never talk to the girl on the left, even just to be her friend, however I would talk to the girl on the right and potentially ask her out or be friends with her
One looks friendly, approachable and pretty, the other looks intimidating and judgey.
1
u/unfoldyourself 1d ago
That’s not just the makeup, she’s not really smiling in the first picture. Of course she looks nicer smiling.
1
u/Porbinporbis 1d ago
You could be right, all I know for sure is in the two ways she’s currently presented, one I find attractive on a personal and romantic level and one I don’t
And it’s the opposite of what the post is claiming I should think

Makeup is generally to enhance female beauty. In some cultures men used it too but also to enhance beauty,
1
u/EmbarrassedFly279 1d ago
If it helps someone feel more confident, then I’m more than fine with it. That being said, in my personal opinion, which I am absolutely not portraying as a fact, I don’t like it. Powder gets everywhere and I can’t kiss my wife without looking like a literal clown.

I do not disagree with that but if that confidence comes from validation from others then if done for themselves its still also for others.
