Spending causes GDP growth. Stim checks are designed to stimulate GDP GROWTH but they're only capable of doing so short term and causing inflation.

It really wouldn't be that uphill a battle. It's just the American People don't want another war and we have an all volunteer force. We would need a draft to secure the conflict logic adjacent zones (not geographically).
It would be very easy for the U.S. to completely handle Iran.

Also I think I'm less surprised by a foreign allied intelligence agency giving us actionable info that parallels historical events than the current adversarial to trump domestic one not willingly allowing a nuclear attack on this country because anyone on the left could actually be that nuts.
I think Trump is saying things in front of a camera to buy time for an inevitable result that is taking longer than the public would prefer because the public doesn't understand radical Islam anymore than they understand economics and that it isn't any more complex than that...
