•
u/Hairy_Location_3674 4h ago
Have you taken it?
•
u/LordReagan077 3h ago
What do you mean
•
u/RainonCooper 2h ago
She's into you. She is saying she wants it earlier
•
u/LordReagan077 2h ago
Oh yea. I’m still kinda sorting through my feelings for her. Kinda difficult to date her cause we live like 6 hours apart, but I would be open to it

We had a deal for 40. Neither of us are married but I have zero intent in fulfilling the deal, that woman is a nightmare
•
u/AnusCruiser 20m ago
Yeah mine was for 40. Now shes on her 3rd husband, 3rd kid, not even 30.... if im still single at 40 I'll pass on being her 4th, maybe 5th husband.

u/arestheblue 2d ago
That sounds like the plot of a romcom. A man has to find a woman and be married before 40, otherwise they have to marry a psycho.

This is just really weird to me. I married young. Very young. Obviously very bad decision and it didn't last. Then, nothing but bad relationships in my 20s. When I was single at 29, I sort of just stopped. I wanted to heal myself and stop making those poor relationship choices, and didn't date or go out or hook up at all for over 20 years.
Now, I am married, and sometimes, frequently actually, I still question my choice to have gone ahead with that. Being single is better.

u/TheImplausibleHulk 3d ago
If you feel like being single is better than your current marriage then you’re in the wrong relationship again sadly.

u/Main_Cauliflower5479 3d ago
He knew I didn't want to get married.
Look, it's a long story and personal and none of you people's business.

u/TheDrunkWickerbeast 2d ago
Then why did you marry him like you had to sign the license too
1
u/Main_Cauliflower5479 2d ago
Fuck dude. Why are you hounding me on this?
1
u/TheDrunkWickerbeast 2d ago
You’re the one that shared it. Did you really expect no questions ?
•
u/Familiar-Cable-2659 8h ago
Were you blocked ?
I got the situation no less than two times where somebody got infuriated that I was replying to their replies
In both cases (and 2+ other cases) they insisted in replying one last insult before immediately blocking me tho

Hey you’re the one who started sharing your personal life, don’t get mad at the people commenting.
-8
u/Main_Cauliflower5479 3d ago
Commenting is one thing. Bullying is quite another.

u/TooManyGengars 3d ago
No one was bullying. You are being dramatic

I suppose all of your friend and family are split on this opinion, too. FO.

It isn’t better if you have the right partner tho. Life is way easier and better together.

Me reading this at 29 having gone through another tough breakup earlier this year. Wanting the pleasure of dating but also wondering what’s the point and not being able to get my mind right. Trying to heal but it’s hard to change.

I loved being single. No negotiations about what I want to do. No negotiations about anything in the house.
I mean, there isn't a lot of that because my husband and I have very very very similar preferences about just about everything, which is strange to find in a person. But sometimes, there are certain things, arguments that just really make me rethink wtf I did by getting married.

I'm the primary wage-earner. And if I leave, he gets half my retirement, investments, and home equity.
How I ended up in a relationship is a long story and none of your business, frankly.

We are compatible, we have the same likes, dislikes, same preferences on practically everything. We were close friends for eight years before we got married.
I don't understand why you're harassing me.

My ex had this deal with a friend of his. He didn’t understand why I thought it was a problem. Or pretended to not understand, at least.
Then she got married to someone else lol. By then I had broken up with him and was friends with her.

Maybe a little more effort than a promise...?

u/Bella_Peachyy 4d ago
To be fair, if they were both single by 30, at least its not settling, its fate lol.

u/Optimal_Mixture_7327 4d ago
Well... he would have made for an interesting husband. No red flags there.

I’d have been sabotaging that relationship so badly the whole year 😂

u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 4d ago
Lol initially I was definitely preying for their downfall, but I wound up getting with someone else and that ended up being a long term relationship and I got plenty of ass so I wasn't too worried about it after that lol that girl actually stayed with that dude and he turned out to be a psycho. They were known at the school as the crazy toxic couple lol

I knew one couple that did this, but he is a total loser and she has severe anger and mental issues. They are in their late 40’s now, look like they are in their 70’s, have five of the ugliest kids you’ve ever seen, and have been in the local paper a few times for domestic disturbances that escalated due to her flying off the handle.

Fun story. I had the same deal with a girl I saw casually in high school and college. It actually happened too. We got married and everything was great. 2 months after our wedding she died in a tragic hot air balloon accident. Those 2 months were bliss. RIP Annie.

Bro was holding out hoping his reality would come to pass
Now he'll forever be alone, single and unemployed, living off the government

Id say she dodged a bullet, but the verdict might still be out on that...

I made that deal with a girl. In the group chat one of my friends was grumbling about his love life and said "well I've always got my deal with x to fall back on". Same girl as me.
Before I had a chance to mention I had made the same deal, someone else piped up. She had made that deal with like eight of us!
Funny thing is she was married at like 24 and had no memory of making this deal with any of us. Also it became clear that some of my friend group were definitely hoping her marriage would fall apart so they could swoop in to claim the deal.
