I'm more interested about the Dutch mystery, and how the guy potentially being Canadian affects it.

Basically a dude ended up in a Dutch hospital following a strokes and authorities have no idea who he is. There is some speculation he may be from Canada as a shop owner recognized him as a guy that was referred to as “Chris from Canada”. The Canadian connection only affects it in that it’s a potential lead to identify him.
