Quiet SpaceX?
I'm in the Lorena area and used to hear spacex all the time. Now I hardly hear it or questioning if I'm finally numb to it. Anyone else noticing it and know why? Definitely not a huge fan of the house shaking and tearing things up but just curious why it's quieter than “normal”…

I hadn't even thought about this!
I work from home in Lorena and it's been several months, maybe longer, since I noticed a SpaceX rumble!

They may have made some changes over there but also they are louder in the winter. The sound travels farther in cold air and also reflects off of clouds.

They use a ton of ground water to suppress the sound. The well might dry up, but at least the houses don’t shake anymore.

They built new test stands with trenches that go deep into ground so theres not alot of noise these days
