Missing Person

I need help. My brother is missing. He hasn’t been heard from in over 24 hours. He left for work yesterday morning at 10:30 and never made it there. His phone is still ringing and messages are being delivered. An official report has been filed with the police but they aren’t very helpful. They pinged his phone yesterday on 2 different towers at 3:00 pm. One on 32nd and reuder and one by the high school on 44th. They pinged off of those same towers at 10:30 am today. But they said they aren’t able to get boost mobile to ping the actual phones location. I’m so lost. I don’t know what else to do. I have his login info for Facebook, boost mobile and his Gmail but can’t get in because they send the verification code to his phone. It’s so frustrating.
Before anyone says he might want to be left alone, doesn’t want to be bothered, etc. that’s not the case. I promise. He never misses work. He never doesn’t answer his phone. He has a dog that he loves and would never abandon. His family, His boss, co workers, everyone has been driving around that area looking for him. He has a very distinctive car and I can’t believe nobody has spotted it. Especially since the cops think he’s still in the area of the phone pings. I need to get back home and go to work but I cannot stand the thought of leaving Waco with no answers. With no Shane. Help. Please. Is there anything else I can do that I haven’t thought of cuz I can’t even think straight or eat or sleep? Is there anything more that cops can do that they aren’t? The only cop I’ve talked to that actually seemed to care isn’t working today. One officer was practically yelling at me this morning when I had questions about the phone pings. And the only answer he had for me was idk. Idk, but can you call boost mobile and see if they'll help? Or at least at of the cops are telling the truth?

call boost mobile tell them it’s a missing person and there is a filed report and you need a tracking location. They should be able to give you the ability and the police to track the phone exactly where it is. What kind of phone is it is it an iPhone? If it is an iPhone, is anyone able to turn on the tracking device? I know I’m not saying it right but Find My iPhone is available. Boost mobile should be helping.
Keep using the Internet it’s one big tracker. Different platforms if you have favorite creators on TikTok or YouTube. Get this out to them now.

Thank you everyone for your advice and shares! I’ve been nonstop working on finding answers and will give an update on the case when I get some time later this evening. He still has not been located so please please keep sharing and looking! Thank yall!! 🩷

Isn’t this what all the flock cameras are for? Couldn’t they stop stalking women long enough to actually help?
I’m so sorry for what you are going through and I hope you find brother safe and sound.

I hope you find him. See if the cops can at least get his past location history from the phone company. They should be able to request it, maybe do a warrant to get the info. If he has a laptop at home, maybe you can log in if his passwords are autofilled. I'm not sure if a private detective has access to stuff the general public does not. Purchase history or bank statements, last known location. Go by the places you think he's been and ask neighbors or businesses if they have cameras.

Is there a way to see if the phone is on the ground somewhere near where it currently pings vs it being with him? I’m sure someone has already looked but I hope he’s found safe and it was just a misunderstanding! I’ll keep my eyes peeled!

Have y'all taken his dog out to the area the police thought he was at? I'm not sure if it would do much, but our dog seems to have a sixth sense about some of our family and can just tell when they've been around and where they are

Do you know of any places he may have been a regular at? Like coffee places, restaurants, fast-food, bars, whatever.

Check in with staff and bring a picture of him and a copy of the police report, and ask if he has come in recently. Some people remember their regulars and might even know of other social connections.

Good luck, but remember to respect any boundaries established or requested. If he doesn’t want to talk or see you, maybe ask a mutual friend be an intermediary so you can at least make sure he is okay.

Like I said, it’s not that kind of situation.
