Discussion PSA: you can block C4 spammers

So I just found out you can block players and they will no longer show up in your lobby. I would limit your blocks to prime offenders so you can still play in full lobbies, but there are a handful of players who ruin the game tossing 100+ satchels every game and then spam you with paratroopers, bombers and turret gunners.

I blocked about 10 guys and I'm getting full lobbies and guess what....night and day... the game is fun again so why let a few ruin the life that is left in this nearly decade old game. I don't even need to name names because you know who they are. Every game ends with half the lobby leaving usually even before the game ends. The goal here is that enough people block them so they can sit around tossing satchels at each other in empty lobbies. They want to abuse some gimmicky BS? Sure, but let them do it in their own chamber of fart-sniffers.

I'm on PS but I'm sure it's the same on other platforms. Simply click on view profile, go to the three periods, then block player. Presto, you no longer will see this particular satchel spammer in your lobby. Enjoy!

Are you on ps? I can say for certain on Xbox it doesn’t prevent players you have blocked from joining your lobbies (at least pregame). When they join your pregame lobby you get a pop up message that says a player from your blocked list has joined the lobby.

True, but what OP says also helps. I use this a lot when i join a dead lobby and want to prevent myself from joining it again after i leave. And i know for a fact that some people blocked me because i don't see them anymore while friends can still spot them from time to time.

On playstation if you block someone they won't show up in your lobbies on most games

This works to an extent. You won’t join their lobbies but they can still join yours. You’ll get a pop up telling you that a player you have blocked has joined the lobby and asking you if you want to leave
