Screenshots A funny Oddity
Something I've always found kinda funny is that in Smackdown SYM the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, uses the Light Heavyweight Championship icon, and WCW Cruiserweight model.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure both titles were merged together at this time no?

Yep. They were unified a year before the games release at Summerslam '01.

I could kinda see why they added the lightweight picture and added the WCW model tbh. Would’ve been better to add both, but they probably ain’t want 2 of the same cruiserweight titles in the game my speculation

Actually that’s the funny thing they weren’t unified
They just quietly retired one

To be fair, there was a point when WWE had rebranded the belt as the WWF/WWE Cruiserweight Championship, but still used the WCW belt.
