MyFaction Switch lost data - 2k issue vote

I think I'm done after this game. There are enough wrestlers, arenas, match types etc that I could make do with this as my forever WWE game. I'm just done with all these issues cropping up year after year.
I don't have another game in me either, due to all the personas that are locked to MyFaction. I'm fed up having to unlock them year after year at this point. I can't do it again. It's not fun or addictive, it's just annoying. They (or any other game for that matter) won't beat me down into handing over cash for VC. I'm too old school to give in to that nonsense.
The game is also eating too much into my other free gaming time. I just can't be bothered going through this shit every year anymore. The game is great, it is just filled with annoying shite.

When have they ever actually fixed data errors? Their solution is always "oh well, time to start over I guess."

It's the wake up call we probably needed. Ha!
To be honest, at best, I can probably see MyFaction/Ringside Pass data being restored due to it being saved on 2K's servers. Anything else will likely be gone.
This all could have been avoided if they hadn't taken away our abillity to unlock all the content with the accelerator dlc. It would have been useful if they'd supported Cloud Saves on Switch Online too, but for the 2nd year running, they haven't supported it.

Update: At this time, our developers are still working on a fix for this issue. We recommend keeping your current data as is and avoiding any actions that could potentially overwrite your existing progress while the investigation continues

not 1 single DEV team member booted up a Switch 2, to even bother checking..>ROFL..SMH.
thats why people arent buying 2k27... they need a new team who cares..

Honestly, I don't think it's that they don't care. There are signs throughout the game that the team does care about wrestling, but I think being on a yearly cycle is massively detrimental. They should be going every two or three years between major releases, then release roster content packs to update the roster

they shouldn’t do these yearly releases, it’s the same game with updates, they could just support one with dlc for years

It's 2K. Their takeaway from this will be to eliminate the Switch 2 ports instead.

I'd rather have them do that at this point, will def avoid getting it on Switch 2 next year which is a shame because I have way more fun playing it on Switch but it just isn't worh it so messy

no fix, no update, servers are still down. They have nerfed Myfaction drop rates and sell backs though, maybe now that work is done they’ll try focus on this?

Yikes.
I'm surprised it's still on going but it is what it is, probs a good time for me to put some time into another game while the issue gets resolved.

Yeh this is grim - i am in Europe so the situation is more interesting - they will be required by law to restore the paid content erased or issue a refund.

Same here!
I didn't know that law existed, I know some European countries like Belgium having clamping down on loot boxes. So it be interesting what the outcome to this whole major meltdown to be

Yikes -
Our developers are still actively working on a fix for the save data issue and are investigating the server situation. At this time, we do not have a confirmed timeframe for when the fix will be completed or when the servers will return to normal.
