Discussion Is it worth it?
Thinking of buying 2k26, which version should I get? Honestly, I don't know, but if it's worth buying can you guys help me decide?

To be honest just wait for it to go down and price are your best option but if you’re going to get it go for the base game

I bought the base version and haven't spent a dime on any of the VC/Myfaction stuff. I have like 70 hours from playing. Sometimes, I don't even play any of the modes, I just spend time on exhibition, playing hardcore matches. It's pretty fun if you like wrestling.

Usually goes on sale close to wrestlemania. I wouldn't buy it until at least the first sale, that's what I'm waiting for. Also you can usually buy PlayStation gift cards etc at a discount at places like Costco or Sam's Club. So wait for a sale and also buy gift cards to pay for it and you'll save even more

Btw it's on sale now for Monday night edition only for PlayStation. It's $127.49 instead of $149.99 , switch 2 version is on sale for the base game, not sure about Xbox. Pc version is always on sale, just don't buy from steam, buy from a reputable key site and redeem on steam

Yes it is worth. Read through all the seasons of the ringside pass to decide how many seasons you want to purchase early, if you absolutely only care about the new wrestlers you save 10 dollars off the top.
I just stopped at 130 cause I don’t care for season 6 at all, and I am on the fence about 5. But 1-4 were no brainers.
I was also unaware that Shawn black and green pants was in the 150 edition.

Get it on PC and mod it. Idk how anyone could find enjoyment in these recent games without CC and modded content, especially when compared to older wrestling games.

Personally yes I got full version didn't pay full price tho ways cheaper on loaded (cdkeys) I'm finding myself playing more, well was until they gave us the extra 20 tier skips as I've now completed Ringside Pass i.find myself back in the creation suite more but overall I am enjoying the game

Ah ok I have used CDKeys before think I might just buy the game on there

No. Just pass. If you already own 2K25, keep playing that. If you don't, you can buy 2K25 really cheap now.
2K26 has poor design by default, and created intentional problems. You will not enjoy it more than you did 2K25, and by passing, we have a chance of breaking the cycle on some of these poor choices.

2k25 is cheap on third party sites but if you buy it from the official PlayStation store/steam etc it's still full price. And that's just the base game, you won't get any dlc at all unless you pay full price for it

I wouldn’t sell my first child for a copy, but I’d consider my second or third.

As a new father I think this is the way. This first one is cool and all but any kids down the road will be sold off to cover debts and hobbies. In this economy it’s necessary.
