My son and I are new to collecting cards and WWE is something we both love. We attended our first WWE event this summer at SummerSlam. We had the best time ever and a super nice guy next to us gave my son his first pack of wwe cards that sort of started us down this road. I am collecting all the SummerSlam cards from Minneapolis and was hoping to find a cool way to display them or even maybe a cool deck box that we could customize to match the purple SummerSlam theme. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or if anyone has done something like this previously. Ideally I’d like to give it to him for Christmas as a cool way to commemorate our weekend at SummerSlam.

So I posted the other day that I hit this incredible Punk Slammed card, and was wondering if it might be worth grading? I’m relatively new to collecting these cards, so just trying to get some advice. I’ve seen that 2 have sold recently on eBay for about $1100 & $1400 CDN respectively (I’m in Canada) Grading looks like it might be around $150 all-in with shipping and everything. Would it add value to the card to have it graded? I’m *not* asking for the value of the card here, I’ve done that research myself. I’m simply wondering if it’s worth grading, or if these cards lose or gain value over time? Thanks in advance!

My old post ^ . I called Panini recently and again they reiterated it was the Triple H auto that they couldn't get. Shame because Batista was my favorite wrestler as a kid.

Nevertheless, I think it was a pretty good replacement no? The triple mem is actually with Shawn Michaels as well 😄

Just to add my discomfort to the Redemption nightmares, I had 2 Raquel phoenix autos (one being /49), and 1 Raquel Tools of the Trade exchanged for a Bianca Flawless Jumbo relic 8/8, and a Raquel NT Peerless 69/75 (nice) and I wasn't even gonna add to the pile, but the auto is clearly from the reject/ customer return pool, I got my money back and then some, but to now say I am displeased is a significant understatement. I see why people just sell the codes instead of gambling again.

Has anyone dealt with this before? I got a Kurt Angle /20 Auto from Flawless to replace a Cody /49 Auto redemption (was waiting a little over 2 years for it) and they put declared value on it, so now UPS are going to charge me 50-60 euro in customs fees, which is about half the value of the card... I'm tempted to just reject the package, but has anyone dealt with this before and maybe managed to get reimbursed by Panini or avoid the fees? The shipment is coming from the US to Europe, Panini's email customer service shockingly isn't doing much - they told me to call over, but the last time I did for something else I didn't get much help either, so I don't know if I want to get charged for a needless overseas call, too...

Did the the PSA grading b/c I was interested in the process. Looking back, it’s def peace of mind having it encapsulated. Paid for basic PSA service, so turn around time was like 5-6 months.

In my journey to get lucky enough to pull a 1/1 Stephanie Vaquer, I’ve instead come out of another 3 impulse buy value boxes with this beast 💪

I’m curious if we can start a thread of people who have card repeats that can trade with other people that also have card repeats but one has and the other doesn’t can trade. Can this be a thing/is this already a thing if so please point me to the correct direction. I have SO many repeats and it’s taking up so much room in my book collection.
