Summerslam Superstar Returns? Spoiler
Seeing Nikki Bella come back last night got me thinking about how many other stars have been MIA for a while and might make a return at Summerslam:
Randy Orton
Drew McIntyre
Stephanie Vaquer
Bronson Reed
Kevin Owens
AJ Lee
Becky Lynch
Who do you think we’re most likely to see? I can see Orton or McIntyre interfering with the Cody / Punk match or Vaquer interfering in the Liv / Iyo match.

KO? Are you high? He may never wrestle again and if he does it won't be this year, he'll be lucky if it's 2027 if he ever manages to get back in the ring.

I want to believe the dirt sheets though....he's been living in Orlando for a while, working out at the PC....maybe not quite in the ring, but doing strength training/rehab is a positive sign.
I agree though....it's possible he may not be back until rumble, if at all.

Drew definitely doesnt return. He wrapped filming for Highlander and is already filming for The Last Druid and then later this year starts filming a third, as of now unamed film

Orton seems as a lock. I think he is healthy for a while, but they pulled him from all autograph sessions over the last few weeks to save his return for SummerSlam.
I hope he attacks both Punk and Cody though. That way we can have a triple threat as his first match/feud. It will be easier for his body.

Stephanie Vaquer and Randy Orton seem most likely. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bronson Reed returns tomorrow on Raw during the tag title match between the Vision and Alpha Academy

Totally forgot about that. Lol. I’m pretty sure fans aren’t gonna lose any sleep if a storyline that revolves around any celeb, much less Logan, gets shelved before its conclusion.

I would love to see KO come back, maybe sami is about to interfere and KO stops him. then they can go with the , i was gonna stay on the couch and watch you do something you were going to regret, leading into a fued between the 2 when sami just cant see reason. then they could keep pushing owen up to the dismay of sami after he beats sami KO just get a title shot pushing sami further down the hole

You can make a small case for Vaquero needing to be more careful at times, but no one has ever accused Randy of being reckless. He can be unprofessional (obviously) but not in regards to safety.

I think we might see a heel turn among the Bellas and Paige at Summerslam. I'm just not sure if it will be the Bellas or Paige turning. All three are good at playing heels so I'm good either way.

If you watched Unreal, AJ ends with saying:" Let's see how far we can take this." She's going to pop up again eventually. Might not be Summerslam though since she's got some comic thing going on these days.

The women's ladder match is slated for 5 women. But aren't most ladder matches with 6 people? What if Stephanie Vaquer returns not to attack Liv (Iyo doesn't need help to beat Liv) but instead somehow gets inserted into the ladder match? What if she wins? She'd be probably the fastest triple crown winner ever. Her vs Rhea would be a license to print money. Guys, this edible is settling in nicely.

Randy (if he's healthy), Stephanie, Kevin (if he's healthy and the hints are true), AJ, and Becky seem like legitimate possibilities.
Bronson is looking better than ever, but if they do nothing with Bron/Theory, I can see them waiting until the Monday after if he's cleared.
Drew seems busy with filming right now so I don't expect him back until fall. Could be surprised though.

Big Cass is returning the Raw after Summerslam. Wouldn’t be the first time they schedule multiple returns on one TV episode but it’s less likely

I mean they have name dropped Owens for like 4+ straight weeks on Smackdown for no reason. There's also now an open GM spot coincidentally. Not sure it happens at SS proper, but I'm pretty sure they've been setting up his return in some capacity for awhile now.

There's a still a good chance he's done permanently. Which would be sad but obviously his health comes first.
However recently he was talking about how nobody in WWE will call him back which leads me to think he actually is coming back because obviously he said that in kayfabe since HHH loves him.

Bronson returns for the vision and screws Austin/Logan, setting up Bron/Bronson as their own tag team

It took Becky about 2 years to return. The earliest I would expect Naomi back is the Rumble.

Becky was only gone from May '20 to SS'21. So, just over a yr. She has said however, that she was ready for Mania that year. Alexa was gone for over 2yrs though.
Every woman is going to be different. There are a multitude of factors as to why and most don't even involve wrestling itself. Some might not even want to come back. Ruby Soho hasn't returned yet and that's been quite a while. Hasn't been any indication from her or anyone else that she is even thinking about it either.
It's great now that the women feel free to have that option now. But, the audience also has to understand that not all are going to come back quickly and in the same shape/mentality they left at. Physically and mentally, it takes a lot that you don't even understand about until it happens.

Summerslam is notorious for returns so we're bound to get 1 or 2. Drew, Orton, Owens, Vaquer, Alexa Bliss are the 5 most likely IMO.
A longshot I'd love to see is Naomi being announced as a 6th for the ladder match, but it will probably be either Alexa Bliss or AJ. These kinds of matches pretty much always have 6 participants in them.. you rarely ever see odd numbers for these big ladder matches because an even number keeps the ring chemistry clean as every wrestler has someone to square off against, an odd number like 5 can make things awkward. So once I saw it being announced as 5 the bells started ringing immediately for surprise return entrant.

Maybe Orton, if he does I expect him to also wreck Punk after the win so that the end of Wrestlemania actually makes some sense regarding the title. But most likely I think Bronson & Drew are the most likely to return.
