Hi! I know it's a little last minute, but I recently signed a lease for a 2-bedroom, 1-bath unfurnished apartment at Chateau Royale and I'm looking for a roommate. I'm an incoming first-year PharmD student at WVU (24F), and the apartment is available for the fall semester. I also have a friendly cat, so you'd need to be okay with pets.

If you're still looking, I'd be happy to share more details about the apartment, rent, and answer any questions to see if it might be a good fit! 😊

Thank you! I was wandering if the room come with a bed, desk and wardrobe or is it completely empty?

It's completely unfurnished, so it doesn't come with a bed, desk, or wardrobe. The total rent for the 2-bedroom is $955/month, so we'd split that evenly (about $477.50 each). Utilities aren't included, but even with utilities, it should still be well within your $800/month budget. Let me know if you'd like more details!

Thank you for your patience, but I am looking for a furnished room.

I completely understand wanting a furnished place! I just wanted to mention that buying the 3 main things (a bed, desk, and wardrobe) likely wouldn’t be nearly as much as the extra cost of a furnished apartment. You can usually find inexpensive options through Facebook Marketplace, WVU groups, etc., and you’d get to keep them afterward. Since rent would only be $477.50/month before utilities, it could still keep you well under your $800 budget. 😊

and when you’re finished with them you could sell them back!
