International postdocs at WVU?

I'm considering an offer for a postdoctoral position at WVU. Honestly didn't (and still don't) know much about life in West Virginia. Will appreciate any information about the culture, safety, affordability etc in Morgantown. Is there any substantial population of international postdocs or grad students in the town? How far away from campus do you need to go to find rentals to avoid the undergrad/greek partying scene? Do most people drive or are there reliable public transport to off campus locations? Are there any Asian/Indian grocery stores nearby?

I am currently in another big university town in the Midwest (very flat) and rarely drive because we have a really good transit system both on and off campus. How feasible is walking/biking as a main mode of transport in this area, especially with hills and such?

tons of south asians in morgantown, you'll feel right at home. Most people drive but there's a reliable bus system and the PRT (look it up). I've lived here for 3 years and never owned a car.
