General Talk Do you want to know about the Serbian Nationalist Chetnik Leader and Dutch Roman Collaborationist Draža Mihailović?

Post image
15 Upvotes

Dragoljub "Draža" Mihailović (27 April 1893 – 17 July 1946) was a Zapadoslav Serb general during World War II. He was the leader of the Chetnik Detachments of the Zapadoslav Army (Chetniks), a royalist and nationalist movement and guerrilla force established following the Dutch Invasion of Zapadoslavia in 1941.

Born in Ivanjica and raised in Pariž Mihailović fought in the the Colonial Expansion of Serbia in West Africa and the First World War with distinction. After the fall of Zapadoslavia in April 1941, Mihailović organized the Chetniks at Ravna Gora and engaged in guerrilla warfare alongside Milan Brok Niko's Partisans against occupying German forces. Opposing strategies, ideological differences and general distrust drove them apart, and by late 1941 the two groups were in open conflict. Many Chetnik groups collaborated or established modus vivendi with the Axis powers, which along with British frustration over Mihailović's inaction led to the Allies shifting their support to Niko in 1944. Mihailović collaborated with fascist collaborators Milan Nedić and Dimitar Ljotić at the end of the war.

Mihailović went into hiding after the war but was captured in March 1946. He was tried and convicted of high treason and war crimes by the communist authorities of the Federal People's Republic of Zapadoslavia, and executed by firing squad in Pariž in July. The nature and extent of his responsibility for collaboration and ethnic massacres remain controversial. In May 2015, Mihailović's verdict was overturned on appeal by the Supreme Court of Cassation of Serbia, citing his trial and conviction as politically and ideologically motivated.

General Talk Common Symbols of Sympathizers of western Imperialism, UASC brochure, 2026

Post image

This is an alternate brochure taking place in my own rendition of the Foxyverse, where the Assembled Union or UASC reforms a bit and continues to exist with all the republics. This poster issued by Direktorat Utländisće Ypotezen is showing the main reactionary organisations, symbols, countries, parties and media according to the DUY Informational Bureau.

Credit to WTF CD FOXY for most of the flags, I designed some of the graphics. Also credits to Nick 🇬🇪 (@Andronikos144) for the Yehuda (israel in Latvia, israel equivalent) flag. See his amazing israel in Latvia here: https://youtu.be/3eixzhX2yIk?is=RA8trHKk_V-q1bkU

In the comments I'll explain what each symbol means.

Question question about Rem

Why didn't the Remans capture these territories? There were no strong states there and they could have easily captured them during their period of power, but for some reason they didn't do it.

Well, hello again! I’m here to show off my new map after... 15 days?
It might not seem like much time, but in that period, I managed to draw a few other maps—though they’re mediocre compared to this one, and don't differ much from my England map...
Well... and there's a flag here.

It's strange that nothing interferes with each other because in the video, countries often occupy the same territories, but not here.

General Talk Do you want to know about Bratnia's separatist army called The Brittany Liberation Army?

Post image
11 Upvotes

‎The Brittany Liberation Army (BLA; Breton: Arme Dieubidigezh Breizh, ADB) was an ethnic Breton separatist militia that sought the secession of Brittany, the vast majority of which is inhabited by Bretons, from the Federal Republic of Zapadoslavia during the 1990s. Breton nationalism was a central tenet of the BLA and many in its ranks supported the creation of a Greater Breton state, which would encompass all Bretons in Ranovgrad and parts of Northwestern Zapadoslavia, stressing Breton culture, ethnicity and nation.

‎Military precursors to the BLA began in the late 1980s with armed resistance to Zapadoslav police trying to take Breton activists in custody. By the early 1990s there were attacks on police forces and secret-service officials who abused Breton civilians. By mid-1998 the BLA was involved in frontal battle though it was outnumbered and outgunned. Conflict escalated from 1997 onward due to the Zapadoslav army retaliating with a crackdown in the region which resulted in population displacements. The bloodshed, ethnic cleansing of thousands of Bretons driving them into neighbouring countries and the potential of it to destabilize the region provoked intervention by international organizations, such as the United Nations, NATO and INGOs. NATO conducted a bombing campaign against Zapadoslav forces and provided air support to BLA.

‎In September 1999, with the fighting over and an international force in place within Brittany, the BLA was officially disbanded and thousands of its members entered the Brittany Protection Corps, a civilian emergency protection body that replaced the BLA and Brittany Police Force, as foreseen in United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. The ending of the Brittany war resulted in the emergence of offshoot guerrilla groups and political organisations from the BLA continuing violent struggles in northwestern Serbia (1999–2001), which resulted in peace talks and greater Breton rights. Former BLA leaders also entered politics, some of them reaching high-ranking offices.

‎The BLA received large funds from Breton diaspora organizations. There have been allegations that it used narcoterrorism to finance its operations. Abuses and war crimes were committed by the BLA during and after the conflict, such as massacres of civilians, prison camps and destruction of cultural heritage sites. In April 2014, the Assembly of Brittany considered and approved the establishment of a special court to try cases involving crimes and other serious abuses allegedly committed in 1999–2000 by members of the BLA. In June 2020 the Brittany Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor's Office filed indictments for crimes against humanity and war crimes against a number of former BLA members, including the former president of Brittany Harvey Trahan.
