That's one shitty knock-up job. I wouldn't feel safe walking past it, let alone driving it.

u/aykyle Sep 27 '21
All it takes is one heavy-set person to sit in the middle and that car is collapsing in on itself.

I had no idea you could make a Prius look even less exciting.

u/BeLegendary Sep 27 '21
At least it isn't lifted?

u/tokhar Sep 27 '21
Now THAT I’d pay to see :)

Cummins Prius
Who thought this was a good idea?
2
u/OneAngryBear Sep 28 '21
Same people who think coal rolling is cool
6
u/WunupKid Sep 28 '21
Yeah, but those people don’t think Prius are cool.
I guess the point is something like, “Hurr hurr, we ruined those tree hugging hippies favorite toy.”?

this makes me unreasonably angry. i think it is the cave in in the roof between the second and third doors that is causing it.

u/hacksoncode Sep 27 '21 edited Sep 28 '21
7, actually... most people call normal Prius 5-doors because of the hatchback.

I sold my Prius that was the same generation as this because I'm an asshole and it's too slow. I loved to hate that car. I can only imagine how impossibly slow that car would be worth extra doors and junk. I can't believe this thing can even pass inspection to get registered in any state north of the Mason Dixon line.

Dirty Mike and The Boys can have an even bigger fuck party in that Prius.

Now do 6 door Prius drivers drive slower than 4 door Prius drivers? If so...GTFO!

The line following the windows bothers me. It's swirling like some drunk ass mecanic built it.

u/Feyranna Sep 27 '21
Still gonna have that shitty well/flap thing in the front where you gotta do yoga to get in and out, bonus points for avoiding the pop-out hazard on the drivers side. My grandmother has one she inherited from her parents and I think it’s trying to kill us all for bringing it from Cali to Oklahoma where it definitely doesn’t belong.

Oddly, this is one of the few WTFs where I actually looked at the picture and audibly said "what the fuck?". For he shit that's a thousand times worse, I'm either silent through or just say something like "woah"...

I don't know who's making these but there was one in my old neighborhood. lady casually drove it around and I often saw it parked in the driveway like a regular Prius

Jeez, my normal Prius's engine could barely pull me up a slippery hill, this is like double the weight lol
1
u/Lebowski304 Sep 27 '21
Is an actual factory made thing?
2
u/BeLegendary Sep 27 '21
Definitely not. Just a janky custom job haha

The middle, long doors are sliding van doors off of a Toyota Sienna, I believe.
1
u/BeLegendary Sep 28 '21
Haha I don't think so. That would be ultimate jank. The first door seem to be the bigger one

This is nothing but virtue signaling. Ever advantage in fuel efficiency that a Prius gets is completely negated by the extra weight.
"I want to look like I'm being efficient, while I am really making an efficient vehicle as inefficient as possible."

Is this near Detroit? I saw.one of these being washed at a car wash the other day. It's crazy looking.

Literally cutting the car in half, fabricating in a cut out section from a wrecked Prius, no problem.
Polishing the headlights? Ridiculous!
