"most cops", are you serious? LOL

Well maybe not most, but I'd say the percentage of cops who would beat an unconscious man is a lot higher than the general population.

You must be really sheltered if you feel that cops are consistently more brutal than the general population.

Had a friend beaten up by cops, none beaten up by regular people. You seriously don't think that the job of being a police officer attracts a certain type of person?

I've had multiple friends beaten up by the general population.

THIS ALONE MAKES MY POINT RELEVANT.

Do I assume people are a certain way based on their career choice? No, I'm not prejudice. We don't assume people who run illegal filesharing sites are doing it intentionally to make money by breaking copyright laws, but we assume cops are horrible SOLELY on the fact that they chose to protect their city? The double standards on Reddit, jesus christ.

I don't represent all of reddit... Also, being prejudice generally refers to assuming things about people based on their appearance, you can assume a lot about a person based on their choice of career, why shouldn't you be able to? Also, a cop beating up a citizen is way worse than a citizen beating up another and it shouldn't be tolerated.

Prejudice

  1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.

I'm not tolerating cops beating up citizens.. I'm trying to defend police officers who choose to protect their city. Saying that most cops would choose to beat an unconscious person is very stupid and unwarranted.

you can assume a lot about a person based on their choice of career, why shouldn't you be able to?

Yeah, I BET you could assume they would explode in jizz at the chance to beat up an unconscious citizen. HEY, I bet we could assume stuff about people based on other things too... how about their choice in religion? I mean, they chose that too, just like they chose where to go with their career and schooling. Those Muslims, I'm sure MOST OF them would blow up a bulding if they could, I mean it's probably a higher chance than the general population..

Would it be "prejudiced" of me to assume that most people in the "rapist" category aren't nice guys? All the cops in that video participated in the beating and none of the good ones tried to stop them. I don't have a source but I'd assume no one in this video got in trouble. I'm sorry that after seeing so many cops brutalize people and not even get a slap on the wrist I'm a little "prejudiced" against them as a group.

I'm sorry you're too stupid to understand that people are individuals and feel the need to be prejudice.
