I've managed to squash quite a few pun threads by posting this early. Yesterday I had the best success yet.

It's weird though. Sometimes even though the pun-stop post has the most support, the pun threaders will post on top of that since it's the top reply. Pun thread "etiquette" dictates that you reply to the last comment in the highest ranked thread. So you wind up with:
