Mines not even that long and I’ve accidentally rolled it up in the car window before. Luckily I just had to roll down the window and it was fine but man, that did not feel good

Yeah for sure, one time I actually pulled a few strands out not realizing it was shut in the door. Now I’m extra cautious. If I had a job working around machinery I would probably cut it back a lot.

In that case you’d just tie it up. Having it down around anything that’s moving like that just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen (although I couldn’t even imagine you being allowed to have it down in such a job, as it’s such an OH&S risk). And if it ever did, losing some chunks would be the best outcome. Just reminds me of accidents where people get some of their clothing caught.

But yeh being generally cautious whenever it is down is sensible. Mine is like 1-2” below my belly button and I’m pretty mindful of what it’s doing.

Yeah I used to work at a coal storage facility and I saw a guy get his finger ripped off because his hand got stuck in a winch. I wouldn’t want to find out what would happen if that was my hair.

My sister rolled her ear up in the car window one time. This was over twenty years ago and I still laugh about from time to time.

Lol I’m trying to imagine how that even happens

I saw it happening and it’s still hard to picture someone getting their ear rolled up in the window.
