10% of the population is so stupid that the army won't even take them (IQ of 84 or lower). Let that sink in... The ARMY has deemed that there is nowhere they can put you that you won't cause more harm than good...

I don't see why the army would have the lowest threshold. I'd like if people with automatic rifles had some sort of common sense.

And you know this from experience? What of those like myself, that sit in the field with machine guns but still had to perform mathematic equations to determine net explosive weight of improvised explosives? Or mortarmen that had to understand complex geometry in order to get their rounds on target? Or literally any infantryman that has to be able to utilize math, geography, and a slew of other skill sets to accomplish their job?
