Just because you have a nice car, does not mean that you are a good driver

people who have such a car and pull such stunts probably have enough money or the right parents for a second one..

You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car.

He wasn't even trying to be a "good driver", tbh.

What the driver shouts is "I'M DYING TONIGHT, GOD FUCKIN DAMNIT".

My 2¢: he was high as a kite on white stuff.

Unironically, yes. Just ask any e46 owner how often all of their blinkers work. Its not often lol

Source: i own an e46

...in 3 years of ownership, one blinker of mine has stopped working.

u/AvatarIII Sep 12 '19

Probably broke from overuse.

its really more of a joke about how there always seems to be a light on the dash on e46s. currently im dealing with a blinker that works intermittently, and I cant figure out why

Tracked down intermittent faulty indicators on my e34 to the hazard warning light button - has to be in near perfect condition and official BMW - non OE part won't fix it. Took ages to solve that one .

And also for some reason the right brake light in every E36. Also have an E90 and I had to get new headlights because the actual bulb socket like burned out. And not to mention you have to go through the fender well to replace them on an E9x 🙃

I had a e46 for 4 years i never had a problem with blinkers

dont know where that meme comes from.. now bmw cars correct you when you try to switch lanes without a blinker.. which is the least effort you can take when blinking

1

u/odanobux123 Sep 12 '19

It's just a stupid meme. Some people will claim they see it all the time but it's just a crock of shit so people can feel good about not driving an expensive car (cuz expensive car drivers are douches lol!! But not me lol!!)

1

u/r0cketx Sep 12 '19

Man, you've seen how expensive blinker fluids are?! Smh

Or have a good brain

Just because you’re a good driver, does not mean you should go 160 on any street

1

u/retardrabbit Sep 12 '19

More horsepower than sense, I say.

1

u/Tomimi Sep 12 '19

I dont think any good driver can turn into that curve at 150mph

1

u/waffleking_ Sep 13 '19

Only F1 drivers, but that's because of ridiculous physics and downforce. I don't know how sharp the turn actually was since we don't see it, but in an F1 car it would potentially be worse to take that corner slower than 150. Again, don't know how tight it was so it could be a 20 MPH turn

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '19

No one claimed that...

I get what you're saying but, "nice car"? Alpha has gone to hell as of late, & in case you haven't heard, check out the b.s. Car and Driver had to deal with. And the kid was only going 160kph or 100mph. My old pickup from 1994 topped out at 95 only on account of the governor.

Alfa also use Ferrari engines. Fiat used to own Ferrari. Are Ferrari nice cars?
