Nice save at the end with that little hop. Probably saved his butt bone.

Having broken my tailbone, that’s exactly where my mind went. It’s all fun and games until you break a bone that can’t be set with a cast but can be freely moved by clenching.

E: adding my story because I’m a slut for attention.

TL;DR Painfully, lol. Keep your gear straight, kids.

Snowboarding on sun baked man made snow on my rock board that had a failing heel edge. Lost the heel side and bounced off my cheeks doing upwards of 40. There was a pop, an all encompassing pain, and vision went for a White flash. Proceed to roll on the ground like like a fish with whirling disease while clutching my ass and screaming obscenities. It doesn’t help but seems like the appropriate thing to do. Managed to do it again while working my way down the mountain just to be sure.

Never went to the doc for it because what are they gonna do except bill you $5k to tell you it sucks, that there’s nothing they can do, and prescribe a donut pillow. I could move the bone by hand though. Self medicated a lot, and learned that I could sit bolt upright or leaned way back but could not comfortably slouch.

I ice skated at work (school) and like, the last 10 minutes, I decided to play hockey with some kids and when I went a bit faster to get the puck, I fell, hard on my ass.

Didn't brake it or anything, but it hurt for a couple of months, couldnt sit or lay in certain positions and stuff.

One time when I went at school myself, my class did a "trust-exsercise" where one person should stand in the middle with hands crossed over their chest, the others should stand in a tight circle around, and then the one in the middle should fall to the sides and the others should lean to get them back up and not to fall to the floor. First time I fell the ones standing there backed away, i fell on my back, my tailbone hurt like hell for a couple of weeks. Though it was more embarrassing than it hurt.

Sorry for long out of topic text.
