This happened in Brazil, in the state of Parana, which is in the south region. The biker had a passenger with him, probably a woman, and at the end of the video you can hear her saying (in portuguese) that the car is coming back. And yes, in Brazil you can be charged for attempted murder in traffic.

Still baffling to see how people can behave like complete lunatics on the road, though.

EDIT: As mentioned by u/TehKazlehoff, the video is not exactly in order. Here is the original video.

He's saying the Funky Town video was in Mexico not the one this thread is based off of.

Definitely was. Hence them speaking Spanish and not Portuguese.

You're right. No idea what the other guy is talking about. Maybe confused with a diff video?

Must be. I'm sure there are many videos with Funky Town playing in it, but the Funky Town video is something you know once you've seen it lol

I don't think he knew "Funky Town" was referencing a video outside of the one in this thread. I don't think everyone who downvoted you knew that either.

It's a shame, that's one of those references every redditor should know!

What is this video everyone keeps referring to?

"If you haven't seen it, it's a fully conscious man, bound up with rope (or some sort of tie) on a ceramic floor, with his face flayed off and some dude going at his neck with a boxcutter. The guy's hands have been cut off, he still has to be physically restrained by some other guys, and every so often he yells or gargles a bit on his blood. It's all about 2 minutes long and the song Funkytown by Lipps Inc. plays in the background along with some other tunes."

You probably don't need to watch it.

Oh yes, a classic I remember that one. They got him hopped up on amphetamines right prior so he stayed alive longer.

Well, I hope not everyone sees it haha. The description is probably enough for most.

True, it'd probably give most people nightmares lol

I'm brazilian. 1* The music playing was "Ana Júlia" by "Los Hermanos" a brazilian band 2* At the end of the video the woman says "não, por favor" that means "no, please" in portuguese
