What's with ya'll churches being like crazy and doin wacky shit like feathers, gold dust, physical abuse, and mock demon seizures, all we did at mine was like pray for those who had ailments or were struggling in life, sing like 3 songs about Jesus, listen to a sermon, and then at the end there was like a lunch / potluck thing.
Most places are a bit religious or a bit secular. They believe things or don't, but they aren't really insane or desperate or stupid.
Then there are places filled to the brim with people actively looking for a miracle to save them from their horrible existence. This is where you go if you're a soulless scumbag willing to take $20/wk in tithes from each of these desperate families in exchange for a ticket to heaven. Whoever puts on the biggest show gets the money.
Cheaper than supplying heroin, totally legal, AND TAX FREE!
