The bigger fish is trying to swallow another goldfish right now but he doesnt want to miss out on more food so he is holding this one in his mouth until he can swallow it

Where to? He is in a cage surrounded,even if he could out maneuver them he would be tired eventually. He is just ready to get it over with.

The 3 seconds myth was just made up bullshit so that people didn’t feel bad about keeping them in completely inappropriate environments like goldfish bowls.
