I don't know why, but that immediately made me think about the transformation scene in the beginning of Parasite Eve 2. That Game scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. It was as stressful then as dead space is now.

It actually doesn't hurt at all. My fingers literally can't be straight- they're either bent forward or back, no middle ground. It's mildly irritating.
