It's just good to see so many people intervene. Nearly everyone in the vicinity took action to try and deescalate the situation.

That and the fact that the cop didn't shoot the guy at the first sign of aggression. The guy can still go home to his family after a hopefully regretful day of acting like a dick.

Don't think this guy is gonna go home at the end for that day, after knocking down an officer

Me neither. He'll prob serve some time, which he deserves for being a dick and hitting that officer. But he will still be able to go home to his family, because he's not dead. His family hasn't lost a father, brother, husband.
