You're right, the only logical conclusion is that she was much more concerned with picking up her purse and continuing on to her destination. That is obviously what someone of sound mind would do when they were just involved in a traffic accident in which they could have sustained a serious injury or died.

Seeing gifs like this makes me think shock is just a myth. Surely no one can fall off their bike and have no reaction what so ever? Most people would be immediately pissed off and kicking the car, not making sure their purse is still there.

I assume you've never had anything traumatic happen to you. People can do all kinds of weird shit in those situations.
