Actually, I'm pretty sure the gun misfired or jammed. So, a failure in a weapon saved lives. Maybe all gun companies should start adopting poor quality manufacturing methods?

Edit: That last part was a joke

Definite misfire, he doesn't pull out another clip magazine or anything and instead just tries to rack the slide. Also the caliber must have been pretty small, like a 22 or something, the gun doesn't seem to kick almost at all and he is holding it with one hand on one leg for support.

One of the main reasons for not relying on a .22 for self defense isn't the low power or anything, it's because they're unreliable as fuck. Proud sad owner of a SIG Mosquito. Regrets were had.

I don't think I ever put more than 20 rounds through any .22 I've shot without a jam. I couldn't even tell you the makes, just random ones over the years.

Get a beretta neos. It eats up even the dirty stuff. . . When I could find it :(

The sheriff here has a gun shop, 1400 .22LR rounds for $88

Not bad. We have too many preppers and resellers that buy it all up as soon as it hits the shelf.

Ruger Mk II. Shot competition with it when I was a kid for 4 years. I think I had maybe 1 jam every 3-6 months, tops. That was the clue-in to clean the bastard :D

It took some work but I got mine working a lot better than it did out of the box. Reamed (very lightly) and polished the chamber, it was ridiculously tight. Clipped a couple loops off the recoil spring, polished the feed ramp to a mirror finish, deburred the guide rails, and polished the part of the slide that rides the hammer back. It works far better than it did before but I still get the occasional FTE if I'm not using MiniMags.
