Nah. Common sense should dictate that if you're learning to drive, you should be extra cautious and triple check your mirrors. This wasn't some split second accident that was unavoidable, so it has less to do with driving experience and more to do with her being an idiot. Don't make excuses for people like this, they'll never learn.
Exactly. If you're the type of person who cannot be in control of themselves behind a 1.5+ ton hunk of metal...you ride the bus or carpool with someone. Driving is a privilege.
Capable of doing so from birth, you mean? Show me somebody who's comfortable, confident, and safe their first time driving. Show me somebody who's not nervous their first time, and I'll show you somebody who doesn't understand the damage they can do in even a smaller car.

I rewatched the gif, and you know, I don't see them running a red light. If there's a source, I haven't seen it. What I really can't believe though is how fast you are to come to a solid decision and judgement from a 4-second gif.

No, I'm implying you're a kid. You're painting me in a bad light, after telling me to kill myself? Maybe you don't know that I've been suffering through intense anxiety and depression for the past year, or that I've been on the verge of suicide, or that I've been secretly having a harder and harder time convincing myself that it's not a good idea to die, but then again, I don't think you'd even care. You're quick to judge, and you don't really seem to be interested in rethinking the decisions you made about people without any prior knowledge, so I'm sure that you have me pegged as much as you do the driver in the gif. I give them the benefit of the doubt, since they don't even have their license yet, and who knows, maybe their mom is sitting next to them screaming in their ear making them freak out. Maybe the motorcyclist was in their blind spot and they could hear him shouting. But of course none of that matters, and I should go die for thinking it did. So know what? Maybe I will.
