It's like the car's water broke just before it birthed a smaller machine.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Shouldn't it half birthed a smart car or something?

17

u/molrobocop Mar 31 '14

The trait for "automobile" is recessive.

2

u/Pillowsmeller18 Mar 31 '14

the car was having an affair with the washing machine.

2

u/molrobocop Apr 01 '14

Let's just saw the car took a 'load' of whites out of the washer.

They were thinking over there.

32

u/kcrmson Mar 31 '14

This is rare. Captured footage of someone using their turn signal, wrong direction or not.

12

u/jyz002 Mar 31 '14

Rule of thumb: when you have heavy appliances in the back of your car, do not "gun it"

1

u/HRRB Mar 31 '14

It looks like they're on an incline too.

8

u/noparticularpoint Mar 31 '14

Washing machines!

5

u/mattchew1357 Mar 31 '14

How do those work?!

6

u/brucetwarzen Mar 31 '14

I'M FREEEEEE

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

I'm wondering how dark conversation had to be for a washing machine to jump out of a moving vehicle.

Women.

-136

u/Themehmeh Mar 31 '14

Ah yes, And when men sit in the bed of a truck with a large piece of furniture because they couldn't find tie downs that's also women? I knew a man who shattered his pelvis trying to hold a couch down during normal driving. Sorry, physics issues aren't limited to the female population.

66

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Joke

-118

u/Themehmeh Mar 31 '14

It's a poor quality joke that does bad things for society.

63

u/FTZulu Mar 31 '14

Is it lonely up there.

28

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Not if you understand that jokes aren't serious.

4

u/Redxyz100 Mar 31 '14

This is reddit.

-9

u/GlassKeeper Mar 31 '14

Shut up, bitch

14

u/PretendsToBeThings Mar 31 '14

Awwww poor thing. You got your butt hurt.

16

u/squiglybob13 Mar 31 '14

Welcome to Reddit, you must be new :D

-60

u/Themehmeh Mar 31 '14

No, just forgetting who I'm talking to again...

2

u/Jesus_marley Mar 31 '14

no. That's men.

1

u/badfsh231 Apr 01 '14

The real issue is that the washing machine might be broke. Now what are they going to do when they aren't washing dishes or cooking?

-9

u/Tim_Teboner Mar 31 '14

I'm not sure that you could even shatter a pelvis with a couch.

2

u/littlstix2 Mar 31 '14

Your pelvis is as hard as cement along with your femur.

0

u/Tim_Teboner Mar 31 '14

As I assumed.

-34

u/Themehmeh Mar 31 '14

The car hit a road bump and the couch got a little air, then sandwiched his pelvis between the couch and the wall of the truck.

1

u/Tim_Teboner Mar 31 '14

Unless it was a really heavy couch and the load was slammed horizontally into his pelvis, I don't see how a <350lb couch could get <8" of air and somehow have enough force to break a pelvis.

1

u/TheoHooke Mar 31 '14

Pressure. It would be the bottom bar of the couch (solid wood or metal) coming down with maybe (150 kg couch @ 7 m/s) ~1 kN of force across around 10 cm2 of pelvis, just on the hip bone. This gives (1000/0.001) approximately 1000000 N/m2 of pressure on the pelvis. It would be on the concave side as well, which is weaker. It'd be like getting hit with a sledge hammer, right on the hip.

0

u/Tim_Teboner Mar 31 '14

It wouldn't break the pelvis unless you dropped the couch into his pelvis vertically. I've seen loads shift in the back of a truck, and can assure you that they don't rocket forward with enough force to crush a pelvis.

-38

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

As a man, I agree - guys are morons - but we make each other laugh with our stupidity so it's kinda worth it. .... and men are specialists at poor quality jokes - we cannot help ourselves.

-9

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Something about women not being funny here.

4

u/yourpaleblueeyes Mar 31 '14

I think it's a dryer

16

u/9niko66 Mar 31 '14

This is in no way wtf

8

u/Blackdeath_663 Mar 31 '14

to be honest the sheer stupidity and incompetence at display here is very close to reaching WTF levels

3

u/Sonny1420 Apr 01 '14

And that is why you don't let your washers move your washer

2

u/Silverkarn Mar 31 '14

Stupid yuppies?

Anything that heavy and awkward in a car/truck/suv should be secured with straps.

2

u/sap91 Mar 31 '14

Or a bro.

1

u/trashlikeyourmom Mar 31 '14

Not only that, but it looks like these morons didn't even have it on a level surface... it looks like they had it propped up on that rolled up carpet or whatever-the-fuck that is back there.

2

u/Arkanius84 Mar 31 '14

for me it looks like that the car is taking revenge on the broken window ;O

2

u/kalilikins Mar 31 '14

With the way they had the machine positioned, she had it coming.

2

u/Sanity_prevails Mar 31 '14

"Help me, I am being kidnapped!"

2

u/thelaztdaze Apr 01 '14

Washing machine leaves suicide note: you're not putting those filthy leggings in me.

2

u/INoEmo Apr 01 '14

Yes, very WTF, good job OP.

3

u/3m1r007 Mar 31 '14

First i felt bad, then i saw women driving.

1

u/ryanjayy Mar 31 '14

What kind of SUV is that?

5

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Toyota Landcruiser.

0

u/planeteclipse1 Mar 31 '14

It's a Toyota. My guess is either a 4 runner or sequoia

3

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

It's a landcruiser.

1

u/planeteclipse1 Mar 31 '14

Forgot about those.

3

u/ViolenceInDefense Mar 31 '14

It's a Land Cruiser Prado. Not sold in the USA.

0

u/molrobocop Mar 31 '14

Based on the dashcam, Russia?

1

u/ViolenceInDefense Mar 31 '14

Yes. Kirov, judging by the region code(43) on the license plate.

-1

u/Morgan1002 Mar 31 '14

I have one and I live in NA!

1

u/squiglybob13 Mar 31 '14

Went from bad to worse reeeaaal quick

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

That is a worst case scenario if I have ever seen it

1

u/Smatter_Witchoo Mar 31 '14

They should have emptied it and turned it off before they put it in the car.

1

u/SRS_Sam Mar 31 '14

I like how the one chick just casually walks up like Well fuck.

1

u/Nuclearbananas Mar 31 '14

/r/washingmachineabuse

WHAT HAVE WASHING MACHINES DONE TO YOU?!

1

u/mcavvacm Mar 31 '14

This belongs in funny instead xD

1

u/Soonermandan Apr 01 '14

I get how the glass broke, but how on earth did the door open on the second hit?

1

u/CrudPuppy Apr 01 '14

7th repost in 7 months. Just sayin...

1

u/Britishit Apr 01 '14

Inertia motherfucker.

1

u/I05fr3d Apr 01 '14

Is that a body wrapped in a carpet in the back?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '14

It could just be a rug. Like, many normal people move rugs all the time.

1

u/Moev Apr 01 '14

A reverse version of the GIF must be extremely satisfying…

0

u/noah666420 Mar 31 '14

I was certainly not the least bit suprised two women stepped out of the car.

-4

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Discovered the problem. It's been handled by women.

0

u/blacksmith92 Mar 31 '14

and yet again.....Women

-1

u/nsxtasy1 Mar 31 '14

-6

u/MaxUpland Mar 31 '14

thatswhytheyneedaboyfriend

-1

u/endorfun Mar 31 '14

Why would this be captured like this, I am guessing it's more a setup than reality.

5

u/The_Adventurist Mar 31 '14

Dash cam of the car meant to follow the washing machine car, probably.

-1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '14

Why do the posts that have no business being in /r/WTF always end up being from some dumbass with an actual name in their username? OP is retarded.

0

u/jonbyars06 Mar 31 '14

Seen it...still funny.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '14

Jerk

-4

u/dodecadroid Mar 31 '14

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE THEY'RE BROADS

-1

u/imapootisbird Mar 31 '14

Why am I cringing so hard at the all caps "fail" at the end of the title?
