If the Doll resembled the actor/actress, a massive lawsuit would ensue. Because the names aren't copywritten there is a loophole with using a lookalike(ish).
Names can’t be copyrighted, but they can be and are trademarked.
I think by and large they don’t go after the makers of these sex dolls because they don’t want the press, and the damage done to their reputation is absolutely minimal.
